The seven deadly

(I figured I'd give it a shot and start my first roleplay. Well, enjoy everyone and really the only rules here are your basic SRN rules, as well as not leaving anyone behind, which is a peeve of mine. The premise is simple; 3 strikes and you're out.)

Many millennia ago, a being of complete darkness named Malefor executed a relentless campaign which resulted in the endless destruction of innocent lives. His prowess in magic was unmatched and his power was godlike. No one could seem to put an end to this harbinger of death and he was inching closer to achieving absolute control. When all hope seemed lost, an unknown legion of light appeared, trapping Malefor in a divine seal and his reign of tyranny came to an abrupt end. As quickly as they appeared, the figures vanished without a trace and the stories of this faded away in history. Now, after countless years, Malefor has conducted a plan to escape his prison and wreak havoc on the world once more.

Alignment: Hero (fighting against the sins and/or the villains), Neutral (just wanting to survive) or Villain (wanting to fight alongside the sins or enslave them

Sin: An optional selection in which one character will be infected with 1 of the 7 sins. There will be only one character per sin at first, and if multiple characters are listed in the same sin, I will randomly select one, that is if some one else doesn't have a better idea. Note: Characters don't start out as Sins and will be played out normally at first. As the RP carries on, the characters will be infected with their respective Sin. It also isn't necessary for the Sin to match your character as you can choose the exact opposite if you wish. The ones first infected will act as a sort of main host and will attempt to either infect others with their Sin or another if they choose so. Those infected will instantly lose all signs of their former selves, instead becoming the physical embodiment of the respective Sin. The hosts themselves will additionally be named the Sin. They will have all the abilities normally given to the character. Along with this, they have the ability to create different kinds of constructs out of their Sin. With this power, they could make tools, objects, weapons and other items out of Sin energy. An aura will be constantly seen around your character once their infected and the more they induce the Sin, the larger it becomes which also serves as an increase in power. Final note; your character can be freed if enough force is struck at the infection point or they fail to exhort their corresponding Sin for prolonged amounts of time. If this were to happen to the host, all they infected will return to normal. At this point, the Sin must choose another host.

Personality: ven is very aggressive and  ruthless at times. Get in his way and your get his war hammer in your skull

Abilities:  immortality as long as he consumes a special green moonstone,  can transform into a large liger at will. Super strength to use his great war hammer  skull crusher

Name: Rhine Miràge

Species: Cacomistle

Personality: Cold hearted, talking down to other most of the time, but can hold her temper. She's also more into girls then guys as she will flirt with them more.

Abilities: Multiple fire, lightning and other types of spells at her disposal, Able to change to a powerful dark mage or a strong fighter. Has a familier with her at all times. Can fly about on a trident, but only in her normal witch form.

Species: Greater Kitsune Shadow

Personality: At first glance, Twilight appears to be an apathetic character. He doesn't seem to care about that much of anything, often staying out of other people's business whenever he can happen to avoid it. He believes that most everyone is inferior to him, having a bit of a superiority complex to make up for his own faults. Though he does seem indifferent, this is because of his abnormal heart (or "core"). It seems to be malformed and has trouble keeping itself together. He often forgets the feeling of most emotions because of this. He is constantly re-learning emotions he had previously felt, and even learning new emotions he had never felt before. It becomes almost overwhelming to him sometimes, which is why he tends to stay away from people. The feeling of all of these emotions constantly being forgotten and re-learned can only be described as a sound so grating on the ears that it's almost maddening. The shadow has gotten used to the screeches and sounds inside of his head, but because of them he often gets headaches. The only way he can release all of this negative energy is through fighting, using the negative energy to enhance his own dark powers. Because of this, whenever he is around people he prefers to try and starts fights. He still tries to avoid being around people, especially crowds, as he doesn't really like people in the first place anyhow. It is very hard to make friends with him.

Abilities: Umbrakinesis (His darkness comes from negative emotions), Shadow Sneaking (Able to sink into any shadow, the ability gets weaker as it gets darker since shadows become less visible in darkness and more visible in light.), Night Vision, Flight

Name: Gueton Versil
Species: Demon (Goat)
Personality: Gueton is, at heart, a nice fellow despite his demon birth origins. A somewhat rare case really, neglecting and eventually banishing that instinctive desire to cause a bit of havoc in his genes. He is one to listen and take the opinions of others into consideration, and considers himself a 'situational' pacifist when it comes to arguments and brawls, preferring to come to an agreement rather than fight with fists and powers as a 'gentleman' should. In the end, he is a man who cares about being in the best light to people, and occasionally obsesses over being on everyone's good side to the point where he could go to great lengths so people don't hate him for some reason or another.
Despite this, he is not a man who is scared of danger unless it harms those who he cares about. He, in the end, is confident in himself. He knows his capabilities and he knows he can get out of something if it turns nasty. And thus, as long as it will not offend, he will often speak his opinion on matters and his emotions, and it is very rare for him to bottle something up unless the reason is large enough. A usually respected individual, as lomg as you don't mind him being, uh, a demon.

What he was born with, his own natural abilities have been recently heightened due to advanced training with his father. Originally, he was only capable of dampening artificial light sources to seclude an area in complete darkness, as well as extend and manipulate shadows to cause artificial darkness. Now he is able to shape darkness to a more physical form provided he has covering to 'leech' off for attacks, such as shaping it into claws to slice opponents with, and restrain by creating tendrils from the shadows. He can also travel through darkness.

Through studying spell tomes as a child, Gueton is able to create red portals between locations as long as he is able to concentrate without any fuss or distractions. Originally it linked a point between the Underworld and the Surface world, recently he's been able to shift that focus to portal between locations in the same area, albeit with a bit of a migrane afterwards. A+ for effort, at least.

Really less of a power and more of something which is already there, but needs to be stated. Gueton's black crown on his head is less of a decoration and more of a nullifier for his true demonic appearance, causing him to look mobian and interact with the world without causing sudden alarm. This crown cannot be 'drained' automatically or shattered, and in order to shift to his true self in the Surface he needs to throw the crown to the Underworld, usually through portals, for it to be released. If it is, his body shifts to become more of a hulking (and much to his embarrassment, rather fluffy) beast quite a few heads tall over the average mobian. While his powers do not change at all (as the crown simply nullifies his appearance, not his capabilities in battle) his attacks hit harder, while he himself is a larger target.

Name: Tharros Polemistis

Species: Griffin

Personality: Due to his past transgressions, Tharros lives by a personal code, swearing to never take one's life no matter the situation. Although in the midst of battle, he's not against severely injuring his opponent so long as he knows they'll survive. He possesses immense willpower and a desire to "better" the world. He has a desire to seek out malevolent forces where they hide and combat them. He is extremely stubborn and does not believe in compromise. He believes in very clear definitions of right and wrong, acceptable and unacceptable, and winner and loser. Tharros will rarely take the role of a leader, though he sometimes serves as second-in-command or as the backbone of an organization or group. When this position is offered to him and he has no option to accept, his natural born leadership is shown. This is when it is shown Tharros is fond of making impassioned speeches to boost the morale of his followers and to bestow them with his wisdom. It is very difficult to convince him to change his mind, but once his mind has changed, expect him to jump to the opposite extreme of the argument. He is extremely confident, though in a more stoic and less outspoken manner. He has a strong sense of self-worth and tries to be humble about himself (either out of politeness or some sense of propriety), or he may express it in a particularly abrasive form of self-righteousness. Tharros has incredible amounts of courage, both physically and mentally. That being said, he has the ability to confront fear, pain, danger, uncertainty, or intimidation with no problem. He can easily face physical pain, hardship, death, or threat of death. He acts rightly in the face of popular opposition, shame, scandal, or discouragement. Additionally, he is somewhat judgmental and will likely view an individual as an enemy before he counts them as an ally. He believes in confronting facing problems head on with a direct show of force and intimidation before they can become too serious a threat. The key aspect of Tharros' personality is his strong, mostly unalterable convictions. He values honor above reason, is rarely forgiving to those that upset him and absolutely despises cowardice.

Personality: Somewhat cocky, heroic at times, selfless, shy, goofy

Abilities: Umbrakinesis, flight, enhanced hearing and smell, night vision, echolocation.

Sin: Gluttony

(Starting this now. Anyone still interested is free to join and those already joined can enter in more characters.)

In an unknown location, a sole individual stood in an endless void of white. He wore nothing more than a black robe and a hood. An eerie attribute about this headwear was that if one were to look into it, a black space of emptiness was the only thing seen. He took a step forward, only to swiftly retreat back from an agonizing burn. Despite this, a sinister chuckle emerged from the figure.

“This pathetic prison will soon shackle me no longer.” His raspy voice spoke. Orbiting above him were seven orbs of glowing energy, all different colors. They proceeded to form a line in front of him and he seemed to be speaking with them off as if giving instructions. “The time has come. My lack of a power source has only allowed me to form one of each. You must each discover a host and find the means to set me free. You know what needs to be done. I have additionally granted you a small window of escape so you must act now!” He ordered before sending them off. While he was bound to this spot, the spheres he created freely moved about and would soon be unleashed to the world.


It was a calm and peaceful, midsummer afternoon in the city of Station Square. The many denizens were out and about thoroughly enjoying the relaxing weather this season provided. Flying high above the radiant and near cloudless sky was cyan colored wolbat hybrid. It was Twilight the Lycalo’s favorite time of year and this was apparent through his seemingly unwavering grin. Soaring free with no bounds was one of his favorite things to do. But all good things sometimes came to an end. A deep aching feeling enveloped his azure leathery appendage and reminded him he had been flying for hours. Having your mind lost in the infinite beauty of the world would do such a thing. The wolfbat glided to the ground, landing in a park sometime after. Once the white soles of his shoes were met with the grass, he stretched his body out, then would continue on and see what adventures could be found down here on the ground.

Standing high on a skyscraper lookin down over the city, a black cat sneered. He watched this world change over a milennia. He was out of place, an imortal he held in his hand a strand green stone. "Soon ruin will come to this world, and I will be the one to cause it. Vendestelca ligaire lucipher. The name of the one who will rule all." Ven crushed the stone absorbing it into his body. Marks all over him glowed a bright green. "And no one will get in my way"

"Counting your chickens before they hatch?" came a voice behind Vendestecla.

A Cacomistle, dressed like a witch, with a indigo and crimson striped tail sat sideways on a trident that defied gravity with a crow like flicky flying around her head.

"An immortal like you like you should think of a hobby other then trying to take over the world." she said snidely, "It helps with madness."

The park was the kind of place which was usually swarming with people, and it seemed that was the case today as the cyan wolf bat landed to the ground with grace, yet another to come to take a break from the stresses of life, the worries of the future, the fear for your family as each day passes. But that was getting ahead of yourself, and sometimes it was best to take a breather; inhale, exhale, and stay calm.

The sound of shuffling playing cards was light in the air of the park, as a grey goat with orange, curled horns and a long, coiled (and white fluffed) tail sat on the park bench in extravagantly fancy attire, like he was about to go to a ball, the cardboard flicking between his deft fingers. His eyes were unusual - a coal black, the irises themselves bright white, pupils horizontally slit. His long white hair, tied together in a ponytail at the mid-section of his spine, swayed slightly in the gentle upcoming breeze. A man at peace, really. Shuffling that deck of playing cards, only to pause, crane his neck to the side, and examine the bat which had landed with a warm smile on his face.

"A pleasant day is it not, sir?" he chuckled, a voice as smooth and inviting as silk.

Oh boy, the park. Oh boy, people or, rather mobians. Or both.
A strange, winged, charcoal colored Kitsune (Or, that's what he appeared to be) was walking through the park, chewing on a straw that stuck up out of a plastic cup that was, now, empty. A rather noticable blonde coloration stuck out on his bangs as they swayed in the breeze along with his deep red trench coat. Two leathery black wings protruded from his back, they seemed far too small to be able to carry him anywhere though. His left hand, which was holding the cup, appeared to be some kind of deformed. It was a dark purple color, and appeared to be lacking fur. It was surrounded in a dark energy. 

He dropped the empty cup into the first trash can he saw and continued walking, shoving his hands into his pockets. Everyone seemed to be leaving him alone for the most part, and that's exactly what he wanted. It would be far too much of a bother if anyone were to approach him. He wouldn't even bother to come here if the rest of the city didn't look completely disgusting. He took a deep breath, three tails swaying behind him, and let it out a few seconds later trying to relax midst all the people.

Twilight stretched his wings and body out, feeling somewhat sore from his flight. At times he believed he over went over his body's limits, but he cared little as for the duration of every single night, he's cooped up in his residence like a caged animal. If it wasn't for the darkness within him, he would fly in the open night sky to his heart's content. Then again, if it wasn't for said darkness, he wouldn't have the ability to no longer sleep and would be resting until morning. Regardless, he preferred not to have it as knowing you're a constant threat brings much distress at times.

The sound of a voice caused his large and highly acute bat ears to twitch in reaction. Not even a second later, he turned his sky blue furred head to face the goat that had spoken to him. The Lycalo greeted the warm smile with one of his own.

"Quite the pleasant day indeed." the hybrid replied with a series of nods. The stranger's voice seemed to get another's attention. There was a small gray creature latched onto the wolfbat's back who appeared to be in a sleep-like state. The sound of a potential new friend caught his attention. As the goat would see, the creature climbed up and sat on the top of Twilight's head, looking at the stranger with much curiosity. One of his dark blue, digit-less hands were brought to his invisible mouth and the floating orb above his slightly tilted head took the shape of a question mark.

One who recognized such creatures would swiftly determine this was indeed a Chao. Barely over a foot tall and in the final stage of his current life, Champ was a neutral, gray two toned, fly/fly+run Chao. Two spikes jutted out the backside of his head each with one purple stripe and one pink stripe as well as dark blue tips. These spikes were curled with the tips nearly touching the back of his head. His wings were  large with cyan inner halves and green outer halves. These wings flare out to the side at 6 sections with 3 on each side and each flare tappers off at a curve. The uppermost one is the longest and each one below is longer than the next. 

After a few moments of examining the goat, Champ began flapping his wings and floated above Twilight. He then began to slowly make his way over towards the possible new friend with the same wondering expression across his visage.

"Chao?" he asked. Of course that was the only clear word he can utter as apposed to his toddler-like gibberish and it seemed to be asking the goat who he was.

"I have all the time in the world Rhine." Ven said. "I have people to kill a government to destroy. Not to mention defeat the military." He chuckled. He looked to the witch. "But I've lived since the midevil times. So I know how to wait for the right moment to strike... I heard you called up a storm terrorizing my sister's descendant Leo "

"There is many a thing that I can do, Vendestecla." smiled Rhine wickedly, "But you may need to wait until the great darkness comes."

Rhine landed on the roof top and added "I've noticed the air seems off this day. Do you know why?"

The man smiled at the little chao, slowly extending a spare hand towards the little creature while flicking the cards over to the other hand, then quickly slipping them into his fabulous jacket pocket for a later date, "Ah, hello there!" the goat greeted with a chuckle, "I'm Gueton, and what about you, my little friend?"

He turned his head towards the bat creature mobian with the fluff tail. Wolfbat. Thing. Yes. His attention slightly drifted away from the chao to strike conversation with the young man before him, "And yourself? Name, I mean. I assure you two are here to relax?"

Twilight walked through the park at a slower pace now, the only noise to penetrate his eardrums was the sway of the tree leaves in the breeze. Or, at least, it was for about 5 seconds. It wasn't long until he came across the strange wolfbat, the goat and the over-sized stress ball flying above them both. 

He quickened his pace, trying to walk past the three without looking as if his suddenly faster paced walk was directed at the fact that he really didn't want to talk to them. But it was, it always was. There wasn't an instance when it wasn't.

Champ's question mark swiftly formed into the shape of a heart upon being petted by the goat. He stopped in place, floating now with the use of his large and bright wings. His eyes closed and his head slowly swayed side to side.

The Lycalo, naturally watchful of his pet/sidekick, smiled at the friendly nature of this goat. Usually Champ's hyperactive disposition potentially caused issues as some weren't too fond of a bubbly gray creature attacking them with hugs. Speaking of which, the wolfbat's ears perked up at another that was approaching the small group. His golden eyes watched the kitsune pass by while can't help but feel the individual looked familiar. Noticing he got sidetracked, he turned his attention once more to the goat in front of him.

"Nice to meet you, Gueton. The name's Twilight, and that little bundle of joy is Champ." he replied with a light chuckle. "He says you're the most interesting looking person we've seen." The Lycalo informed. Twilight's bond with the Chao had brought upon two abilities. Champ possessed natural fire controlling capabilities, but of course given his oblivious temperament, these powers have gone unnoticed. However, when in close proximity to the sky blue hybrid, this Pyrokinesis is passed down to him to utilize how he sees fit. Very recently, their bond increased further to the point they were able to communicate telepathically, with Champ's language being translated for Twilight.

"Anyways, yes, we're here for relaxation. This little guy enjoys flying to random locations as much as I do, so everything works out." he replied, a snicker once more escaping his white furred muzzle.

While the various individuals socialized within themselves, 7 glowing orbs reached the city. They each communicated through a conscious mind seeing as they had the inability to speak just yet. After formulating a plan, the group of Sins dispersed to find their own individual hosts.

As the ensemble of evil went their different ways, the stern and rigid golden eyes of an ancient warrior watched on in curiosity on the ground far below. A feeling of familiarity enveloped the avian feline as he sensed he knew the orbs from somewhere. Maybe he’d have to analyze them further. Spreading his massive white feathered wings, Tharros Polemistis took off after them.

Ven looked around. "I know the energy in the area is pulsing with the power of sin" ven could feel the power. He grinned. "Ah the taste of wrath"

"Sin?" said Rhine with confusion, "A daily fact of life. But it feels and smells far different."

Rhine spotted a pinkish glow heading off in one direction and said "I have some other things to do. Good luck with your next failed attempt to rule the world."

Rhine remounted her trident and flew off with her flicky giving her chase.

'What is this now?' she thought as she followed the pink glow.

Gueton smiled warmly, brushing his white hair away from his face, not being able to help chuckling at the little comment, "It is a pleasure to meet you, Twilight and Champ. And ohh I assure you, I'm hardly interesting, my friend," he replied to the little floating creature, "I'm just a citizen hoping for a lovely day to stroll, and I believe that may be the day today. It is grand weather after all." He craned his neck to the side slightly, observing the black-furred kitsune wander past the two with his head low, increasing his pace as he walked by. The man frowned. Hm, was he troubled? That was concerning and poked at his curiosity.

But a conversation was being had with another, and Gueton hoped that individual would be one he met again, for he did dearly love talking to people, you see. His attention was driven once more to the wolfbat and his small chao friend, the goat drumming his fingers against his chin, "It makes me wonder what things you have seen. If I may be so bold to say, what have you discovered in your travels? It sounds rather interesting!" he grinned, tapping that little black crown atop his head, "And I do hope you didn't run into trouble along the way - that always seems to be an irritating issue these days."

Speaking of trouble... that green orb seemed particularly locked on to the extravagantly-dressed demon, drawn like a moth to a light, except the moth was the light and the light was a goat. Funny how that worked out. Seems trouble would be brewing after all. What a grand day.

As Rhine flew after the pink glow, a ghostly form appired in her path.

"Rhine!" snorted the ghost.

"Blast you Jewels!" cursed Rhine at the ghost, "What is it this time?!"

"I think you should stop following that thing." said Jewels, "Something doesn't feel right."

"You're a ghost, Jewels," snarled Rhine in fustration, "Nothing feels right to you!"

"Concidering that I need you alive to come back," snapped Jewels, "I can't have you taking any risks!"

"Heart warming!" snapped Rhine, "And now because of you that pink glow is gone!"

"You'll find it again." said Jewels flatly, "You have a knack for that kind of thing."

Rhine did not reply as she spotted something in the distance.

"Huh?" said Jewels as she turned around.

The pink glow had turned around and raced towards them at un-natural speeds. The glow plowed through, Jewels's ghostly form, causing her to vaniash as it slammed hard into Rhine's chest. Rhine flung forward and hit her head on her trident's shaft and she tumbled from the sky to the woodlands below.

Ven sniffed the air. He smiled turning and walking toward the red orb. "So my powers have found me once more? Come to me my wrath" he said summoning his war hammer. "Come to me my sin"

(Wait, wasn't there a post order??)

Unbeknownst to him, a certain purple orb of sin was fixated on Twilight. Twilight kept walking, totally oblivious to the orb, as he had been trying to block out the world again. Upon spotting another small crowd of Mobians, Twilight retreated behind a tree and leaned against it, sighing and sliding to the ground not long after. 

His ears twitched, picking up the noises of the children playing nearby. His tails flicked back and forth, laying on the ground beside him. The purple orb drew in, closer and closer. Twilight finally noticed it and stood up. What the hell was that? It didn't look like darkness, the purple color was far too bright to be darkness. He braced himself, in case the strange orb tried to do anything funny.

Twilight let out a small chuckle at the goat's words, occasionally exchanging glances between Gueton and that small gray creature. The Lycalo was more then aware of just how friendly Champ could be and typically enjoyed making that known. Of course Twilight liked to prevent that, as not everyone like a bubbly gray creature suffocating them with hugs.

As he took a breath in to reply to the goat's questions, something made itself known. A strange orange orb appeared from above and floated in between the interacting individuals. The wolfbat looked at it curiously in a trance of sorts and he had an eerie feeling it was staring back somehow.

A heavy pair of taloned feet landed in the park with a loud thud. The figure's massive ivory feathered wings retracted and folded against his back. He landed in a slightly crouched position and stood up straight. His unmoving golden eyes watched on and saw the orange sphere orbiting the sky blue wolfbat. A look of terror spread across his otherwise rigid visage as it was all too familiar to him. But before the Griffin was able to step in and warn the hybrid, it was too late. 

The avian feline's entrance brought Twilight out of his trance as he looked to see what the source of commotion was. The second he looked away, the orange orb lunged itself into Twilight's stomach.

"Gah!" He shouted out in surprise, bringing his hands to his stomach. "What...what's happening!?" He questioned, feeling as if he was getting kicked out of his own body, a feeling all too familiar. The Lycalo let out one final shout before the Sin overwhelmed him. Those watching the wolfbat would see he stopped squirming about and had an orange aura surrounding him.

"Ah, that's more like it." Gluttony said with a satisfied grin. His voice sounded similar to Twilight's, only with an ominous echo. Before he could take a step, a loud grumbling noise was heard and the Sin hunched over clutching his stomach. "Does this guy ever eat?" He questioned to himself, wincing from hunger.
