April Event Week 1

It was by the rays on the early spring sun that creeped it's way in between the clouds up above that the temperature as quite pleasant. Surprisingly not that cold at all. It was clear to all that spring indeed was getting into the swing of things. From that overall feeling to the scents that were originating from the budding flowers and the few flowers between them that had already opened up.

It would only be a matter of time before the animals would also bring new life to the season to get it in a full swing of things. But this is not about those animals on this cloud, but nice,  spring day.

No, today it was about the source of a lot of socializing and a not original place at all to be at, the park. Said park bustling with life considering the weather and flowers and all that spring time goodness. And it all was well. About as well as one can expect for an event like this.

It had been a good 4 months since it happened. A weapon brought back together and fallen into hands of somebody bad. Luckily, neither panther nor weapon were anywhere near. Instead, that slashed crack left from back then, had an eerie glow to it. As well as the vegetation around it being amazing rainbow colors as well as odd plants and deformed bugs right next to it.

It's range of odd colors and bugs expending ever so slowly.

(This is my very first event and i do not know if i can join just like how i am doing now...if the answer is no, please delete this post and if the answer is yes then please do tell me because i would like to know if i can keep posting on this or not...sorry...I am a noob and stuff ^^'')

The skunk was just hanging out on her own at her house, doing her usual plans on what she could target to destroy next or what sort of chaos she could possibly make with the weapons she had built, the usual things that she often does.

As she kept her focus on the planning she was doing she moved her hands back as she yawns softly,due to the fact that she was both worn out of working and extremely bored, she acted careless enough to actually knock over a one of the curtains exposing a window, she was greeted by some light as she glanced at it, She did not exactly enjoyed bright lights, the annoyance was enough to get her to get up and take a look outside, It was a rather nice day and the light wasn't even as bright as she first thought it was.

"Maybe I should just take a break from all this planning and building and just go out and enjoy myself for once..." She thought to herself as she looked outside, It was such a calm and nice day perfect for a nice walk.

"Lets see...maybe I could go to the park..." She thought as she picked up a more casual clothing than her usual suit and weapons as she then brushed her fur and added some things on her bag.

Since she did not wanted to call up any attention she carried only four small weapons within the bag in case of emergency along with her normal stuff, such as some cash and other things. "I am so paranoid some times...its Just a walk in the park...whats The worse that could possibly happen" she said as she walked out and headed for the park.

A cyan fox was doing his daily jog through the park. Normally, he'd avoid the place that changed four months ago. But today he thought to himself that he had to watch again. Maybe he could find something out, how to solve this problem. 

Eventually, he stood at the border between Rainbow grass and green grass. He sighed. Why did he let this happen? What if the panther comes back with a surprise attack and destroys all mobius? Was it his fault then? He remembered the way he felt when holding the guard of the weapon. Why didn't he just leave it alone? He already knew that moment that it was probably a trick. 

And although most of the time he didn't think about what happened, when he remembers it again, it strikes him very bad. The area that has been 'corrupted' actually has a sort of style to it. But to think that this area slowly extends... It makes him insecure about the future. "When will she return?" He softly mumbled, while looking down to the rainbow grass.

A Black hedgehog made his way along the park, his hand guarded his head as he seemed to be struggling due to the fact that he was... Well outside. Being outside was almost like a special occasion. He had a jewel embedded on his forehead, and a black lab coat which was clearly inappropriate outdoor clothing.

"Cursed laboratory... Causing me to be outside and see things! Grr.." He grumbled away to himself, his spiked teeth being clear to anyone near by. He stopped in his tracks, looking down and seeing a patch of rainbow coloured grass.

"What is the confounded substance?!" He yelled out "The Colors are positively revolting! An eyesore in fact!!" He waved his arms about, seeming to get more and more offended with each sentence "I demand to know who is responsible!" He said, placing his hands on his hips and grumbling.

Clunk.


A plastic cup hit the bottom of a trash can. The Kitsune that once held the cup looked up at the bland scenery of the park. He didn't really know why he kept coming here, well, it had a lot of benches for sitting at the very least. He would never admit it, but he liked the wide open feel of the place, it was a break from the city around it. He could just avoid people for the most part if need be. He could care less about the people part, in fact, that was the worst part of the park. All the people. 

The Kitsune continued his walk, however, trying his best to block out the mobians around him. The weather felt nice enough, anyhow. Suddenly, he came across the rainbow crack and as far as he knew, the thing just came out of nowhere. He noticed a few other mobians looking at it, at least he wasn't the only one- he thought it a bit weird that everyone else seemed to ignore it. His eyes traced the rainbow vegetation and strange bugs, and focused on the gross mesh of colors inside the slash itself. It gave him a bad feeling. A bad vibe surely had to emanate from this slash, he couldn't have been the only one getting this feeling.

She walked in the park as she spots a group of mobians staring at what seemed to be rainbow colored grass, this peaked her attention, might it be some kind of prank of some sort? its coloring was too natural to be simple paint.

"What the...how The heck did..." She said feeling slightly amused by the sight, she did not exactly liked it yet there was something very off,

She grew more curious as she got close to the grass. 

The skunk looked down at  it and then she noticed the black hedgehog raging so she decided to talk to him just for the heck of it, after all he looked like he was the most interested on finding out who did it, which was also information she wanted to know "Seems somebody does not enjoys rainbows" since she had gloves she decided to tear away some of the tainted leaves taking a look at them from up close "Interesting...i Wonder what caused it" she thought to herself as she then ask the black hedgehog the following question "Say...are You going to try to find out who did this? Because it clearly seems that you are very upset about this"

Cruz usually enjoyed Spring time around where he lived, it was peaceful, quite, warm, and he finally could mess around with his powers just a little bit without much consequence. Wherever he pointed, a flower of his choice rose from the earth in a heart-beat. He spun and skipped around all the way from his house in the shrouded, dense, shady woods to the local park. Along the way, he made little pistols with his index fingers, "shooting" at any leftover patches of snow he came across. Each time, the snow was utterly blown away, replaced with healthy green grass, and a couple of daisies. 

Everything was normal and fine with him, until he reached the park. All of the happy-go-lucky aura in his attitude came to a screeching halt. His sense picked up something unnatural, and to his knowledge, potentially unsafe. 

His skips picking up into a slight jog, he reached what appeared to be common shrubbery of unnatural hues. This did not sit well with him, because usually this was a sign of destruction, regardless of how appeasing to the eye it truly was.

"Gods... What is this?"

Usually, Echo and Zetski would stay inside on days like these, working on projects and such, but they decided why not take a break and go for a walk? So here they were, walking through the park, minding their own buisness and such. Well, until they spot the slash mark from four months ago. Surprisingly, they almost forgot about what happened back then. A slight walk transitioning to a jog, they made their way to it, stopping just a few feet behind others that had been observing the crack, along with the multicolored vegetation surrounding it.

Echo looked to the side, spotting Boubka. "Oh, hey! Boubka!" He called, waiting for a reply. Zetski also waved towards him. Ah, another reunion at another questionable time such as this.

Yet another anomaly of nature decided to show up in the park, but this anomaly was way more peaceful and not-that-weird looking. ...Though still, it's existance was rather questionable.

I mean people have probably seen some rabbits in their lives, and everyone knows that rabbits have big ears, but have they seen a rabbit with ears big enough to lift the thing up and serve as rather weirdly placed wings? 
Because that's exactly what this lightly coloured rabbit was doing - it was flying through the air, flapping it's wingears and looking down at the park, searching for the best place to look for first spring flowers and make her first flower garland this year!

...Oh, also, beside the little rabbit was an even smaller.. something which seemed to be a blue-yellow blob of water. With eyes. And lil paws. It was that thing called Chao, no? And it was the Chao that noticed the rainbow pattern spreading slowly through the ground first. It made a squeaky noise as it stopped the rabbit in its flight by booping the girl's nose and then pointing down.

"..Oh! Oh, I see it Cheese! Thank you!" The girl grinned happily and began to flutter down to the group, the little blob following her soon. Cream soon recognised the blue fox, Boubka, who helped her find Cheese one of these many times he went missing, and she decided to land next to him. As she dusted her dress off, she looked over the rest of people. Some hedgehog who made pretty flowers grow (she had to ask him how he did that!), some other hedgehog who seemed pretty angry about  the rainbow on the ground, a skunk, a kitsune (like Tails!), two more people with Boubka and.. was that Amy in the distance? Ah, well, she shouldn't yell to her just yet, it could startle the people around! So instead, the rabbit turned to Boubka and his friends, shooting the warmest and the most innocent smile: "Hello, mister Boubka! It's nice to see you again!" Andd she smiled at Echo and Zetski too. "And hello to you too~!" 

Well with that sorted out, the rabbit looked over the ground, tilting her head at the pretty, but rather unnatural state of plants. "..Are.. are these flowers sick?" She put her hands together, frowning. Her Chao landed on her head and looked over everything and everyone suspiciously, burrying its round paws in its owner's hair.

((Don't mind me, just adding a late post *whistles*))

Up, down, sideways, duck, a real duck, dodge, up again, roll.

The persimmon wolf moved like a blade of grass carried by the wind. Her brown scarf flowing behind her, easily keeping up with her fantastic feats of athleticism. Dark persimmon ears pressed back against her head, amber colored eyes gazing sharply ahead, her body moved with no restraints as it dashed through the city streets, into a certain park. Many fateful encounters occured at this park for her, and she couldn't help her wondering eyes from taking it every little detail of blossoming spring.

Her body moved on autopilot, the way she had trained it to go. She was numb. Her nerves were dead. Luckily her ears compensated well enough with a kind of echolocation. It helped her 'feel' and sense. And drowned in her musings and reminiscence, she didn't notice the patch of rainbow grass that certain mobians had surrounded. If she hadn't seen a black kitsune- wait. Black kitsune?

Her body halted right before it could ram into a male skunk, eyes glued to the certain figure while her heels dug into the dirt to bring her to a halt. Amber's mouth automatically opened to speak, but was shut immediately once again when she noticed a sudden... Odd... Tingling sensation in her body. This alarmed the wolf, and the heat spiked up high in reaction. She stared at her hands and watched them tremble, saw her whole body tremble.

And it was only then she caught sight of the rainbow colored patch of grass that was expanding its territory.

Diablo's beady little eyes widened as one of the others touched the blasted rainbow thing. "No no no no so much so!!" He shrieked in his raspy voice as he began to take steps backward, watching the rainbow substance as it almost chased him "What is this?! What is happening?!" He questioned out loud, yelling. He seemed more annoyed but the fact that this was all happening, rather than being scared for himself or anyone else. "This is just preposterous! Ridiculous! Atrocious I say!!" He exclaimed.

As he watched the unfortunate girl being morphed by the rainbow like mist, his eyes blinked at rate so fast that his obviously-too-small glasses nearly fell off. "Alright! I'm putting an end to this tomfoolery!!" He yelled, finger in the air as he stamped up and down, swiping as stamping at the spreading substance, making valiant yet feeble attempts at putting an end to this..

But at what cost....? Lets find out...

Boubka heard his name from a distance by a familiar voice. He turned around. "Oh! Echo! and Zetski! Nice to see you guys again! He looked at the corrupted part of the park again. "Nothing has changed, it has just been expanding since four weeks ago." The Cream said hello. "Oh! Cream! Haven't seen you in a long time! The plants? I don't really know if they're sick...They have changed though. But how are you and Chee-" 

He turned around and saw the female skunk turn into a male. "What the!" Suddenly Boubka was standing in the rainbow colored grass. His shoes started to not turn just white and red, the colors began changing. "Don't touch my green sweater!" He yelled. But then, he got goosebumps from the warm and tingling sensation that went through his body. The emerald-green stripe on his right hand started to glow, probably just adrenaline...right?

The echidna never dared to go near the odd patch of grass in the first place, but now he was certain. Cruz didn't need to be shown twice what the strange grass did to the ones infected by its might. Fearing how it may impact his body or mind, being half plant himself, he begged himself to swallow his pride and flee. Cruz didn't even need to look. His sensing abilities concluded that the colors were spreading like the worst infection that he'd ever witnessed in his life. However, there were others still near, and one seemed to be only a child and her companion.

"What to do... What to do?... Eergh! Gods I'm- I'm running out of time..."
 
By the time he looked up, it was too late. More had been engulfed, and it was only a matter of seconds before he would be as well. Shaking his head, he came to a conclusion.

"Why am I just standing here?! "

Sprinting with all of his might, he made a mad dash towards the remaining few who had not been tainted. But unbeknownst to him, all he was running was a fool's errand, sealing his own fate when the smarter move would have been to flee.
Insanity colored blades of grass and leaves were parted with the echidna's mighty boots, each and every step. He began to feel the unnatural warmth seeping through his toes and up his entire body.

Oh no, nope. Twilight immediately flew up and away from the rainbow colored monstrosity. He watched the others move towards it and try to stop this weird vortex from playing it's sick tricks. He wasn't about to put himself in the way of that strange power. He'd rather save himself first. He couldn't help but stay and watch though. He wanted to see what would happen to the rest of them, and as he looked at the scene he noticed a very familiar wolf standing near the vortex of genderbending doom. He hovered down and poked her shoulder lightly.

"Hey, you might wanna get out of the way of this things reign of terror." He informed Amber. "It's usin' some crazy power or.. somethin'." He really didn't want to stay around the vortex for much longer. Who knows who that thing would affect next.

Echo and Zetski both hesitated at the sight of the colorful grass spreading throughout the other civilians, and closer to them. But Zetski snapped out of it first, and pulled himself and Echo away from it quickly, and good thing too. If he had been any slower, they might have stepped on the grass. But the grass didn't seem to let up. They both continuously moved away from the grass, carefully trying to step on anything steady and OTHER than grass, hopefully cobble paths or anything, just to get away, but who knew when the grass would catch up too quickly?

Adrian quite enjoyed this time of year. As the climate of winter had passed and new life had began to form within the plants, the white hedgehog had decided to take a trip down to the park and enjoy himself. I mean its such a nice day out right? So why not make the most of it and enjoy what spring has to off-what is happening over there!?

The hedgehog had came to a sudden stop as had noticed people were seemingly running away from something, as he looked further on, he had spotted a change in the grass, a rainbow colored change. And it had appeared to be getting closer at a much faster pace. After slowly backing away from the rainbow colored virus, he turned the opposite direction and ran soon after to avoid contact with it.

It seems that the rainbow hued territory was claiming more within it's grasps. Almost pulse and breath in how it moved. More like some creepy entity that wants to grow bigger. And had mind to chase after those mere inched from it's grasp. And it went right for it's 'prey'.

The first who got claimed was the orange wolf that had a habit of covering her mouth. The multicolored mist moving from the skunk right to it's new target. All the while still being around the feet of said male'd skunk. Much like before, it was subtle. No sudden bam or boom. But in just moments, that autumn colored fur, was an eye bleeding bright pink.

Diablo was next as he was swiping at the spreading colors. Except it was not from the front that it touched him. Noooo, the substance had moved to the side and behind. Letting him drop down right into it with his stamping. The gentle mist seeping through his clothes as well as he was caught by it as well. If he were to look behind him and at his own muzzle. He might notice that long lizard tail and the crocodile beak he now had.

Boubka was claimed next as he had firmly stepped onto the odd grass. The fox had set it's foot right next to some cross between a lovely ladybug and a long centipede that climbed over his shoe. It was Boubka that found himself in a similar position as the skunk. Except it was more that 'her' shirt now felt a bit tighter around the chest area.

The green echidna was 'attacked' in an odd way. Much like the others, his appearance did change as well every subtly and slowly. And his joke about being half plant? He might want to reconsider that with his movements being harder and harder, like his limbs were not fond of movement at all. Soft spikes protruding from his green 'skin'. And thus he was Cruz, the mobian cactus.

And oh silly Twilight, here he didn't want to get captured by the rainbow hue, yet he touched one who was standing right in it. And that would be his fall as the mist spread from Amber to Twilight. It was a loud , almost cartoony, 'pop' as his wings were just.. gone. Letting him to fall down. Falling for the wolf, oh mai~

The grass seemed to use a same tactic to catch the pair of Echo and Zetski as it had done to catch Diablo. It approached from behind and just waited till they step back onto it and the moment they did, they too felt that warmth spreading through their body, tingling it's way along the spine as they suddenly felt very drawn to each other. Quite literally as well as they were 'forced' up and against each other by , what seemed to be,  the wind. Merging the two together into a single being.

And with Adrian, the rainbow grass didn't mother, it seemed to just 'know' he was too far away and already fleeing away. But the odd bugs didn't act like that, mostly not as a thick fly with it's body covered in slime flew right up against Adrian's face as he had attempted to flee. Clothes suddenly tight and his being warm, as Adrian has become a big ball of walking ball of fluff.

Diablo's quick and rapid swipes and stamps came to a close. Running out of breath... He looked. He let out an ear shattering shriek, trying to figure out just what the hell happen. He was on he verge of vomitting. "No...no... Wrong... All wrong... No!! This is dispeciable!!!" He screamed over and over, before his attention was shifted back towards the substance. "You!! Confounded rainbow monstrosity!! I demand you reverse these conditions this very instant!! I shall not stand for this! There will be repercussions!!" He yelled. His new tail thrashing about as he stamped around more, if you looked closely you may even see steam coming from the sides of his head.

The little rabbit jumped slightly and looked around as people started to be.. well, rather noisy. Her sight stopped at the skunk.
..Wait, wasn't that a female a while ago...?

A glance down at the rainbow grass again as Cream noticed it was actually moving. Towards other people. And also her.

The bunny girl squeaked out as she flapped her ears once again, raising herself from the ground, and also grabbing her Chao, who was just about to pick one of the weirdly coloured flowers. She pressed Cheese against her chest as she fluttered even higher, looking over the grass as its.. magic?? started affecting other people as well. Cream cried out loudly when she saw the green echidna transform into a plant, then squeaked again as Echo and Zetski were merged together. And then she didn't even bother making noises, watching all the changes around her. She just wanted to.. stay out of this grass as long as possible, okay?

"Ch-cheese, there's no time for picking flowers now! A-aah, mister.." ..well, used to be mister, "m-mister Boubka? A-are you feeling alright?" The rabbit admittedly fluttered a bit lower to check on her friend, her Chao letting out angry Chao noises at the deformed bugs around. "Should.. should I call the ambulance? ..Or police? A gardener?" The bunny bit her lip. Right, what exactly do you DO in a case like that? Usually mister Sonic or Tails would come in and save the day, but.. but they weren't around!

Luckily, Twilight's reflexes were quick enough that he was able to land on his feet- but what had just happened didn't register with him right away. He tried taking off again. Nothing happened. He jumped up a little. Nope. Tried jumping again aaaaaaaand... nothing. He moved his hands across his back as best he could and his face immediately took on a very distressed expression. The one that usually tries to keep his cool, the one that wanted to sit back and laugh at everyone's misfortune now might as well have been borderline freaking out. 


"UuhhhHHH... Oohhh nooo.." He mumbled, opening and closing the phantom wings that weren't truly there. "Nooo, no no no, nooo.." 

He put his hands to his head and backed up from the crowd slightly. This wasn't good, not at all, his usual form of transportation was stripped from him by the demon grass. It was like having a limb stripped from your body- like an arm, or a leg... and it didn't seem like he knew how to deal with it.

The demon grass spreading wasn't an easy sight for the pilot above to ignore, Phrovikus was just back out of refueling his machine when he had spotted this from above, the harrier jet lowered itself several feet above the grass, and the mass panic... It ominously watched, waiting for the events to transpire even further, as if surveying, or recording the events.

In actuality, Phrovikus knew something serious was about to unfold, of what? He didn't know, but he was sure this was gonna get messy, if he aided in the takedown of whatever was causing this, he knew people would look at him differently. This was where he could finally do something better for the world. So he waited, hovering at least twenty five feet above the park in clear view...

As for now, the harrier was taking in and locking onto each individual that had any trace of the demon grass's energy within or on them... He made sure to keep an eye on as many as he could, who was it that could've caused this?

The feeling calmed down, it wasn't entirely away though. He felt weird. Or actually, 'She' felt weird. Boubka put her hand against her head. She felt a bit dizzy. "Uh....what's-WHAT?!" Boubka's voice clearly changed into a higher pitch. She opened her eyes and felt shorter. She looked down. Let's just say her chest area made her noticeably female. Her already long hair was longer. Yeah, she was probably female now. "Ow nooooo!" This was not fun at all. 

She glanced at Echo....or Zetski?.....What? They were fused? Oh gosh. She heard Cream. "Ehm. I'm feeling fine....or not....it feels different and weird, but overall I'm okay. Then she looked at the other results. She sighed. Boubka was actually pretty lucky. Just turning female was better than fusing with another or turning into an alligator. "This is bad. This is so bad." She needed a mirror. Just anything. Did she look any good? Why did she even gave a snickerdoodle about that?

It was so fast and sudden. She was scared and left out of her wits already by the tingling sensation. It was so odd. Unusual. Weird. She practically jumped two feet off the ground when Twilight poked her, but her attention remained on her trembling hands. "M- my body-" Amber whimpered, and her voice cracked.

Oh, why did she have to visit this park?

The mist began to climb her body, and no matter how hard she tried to shake or rub it off, the kept its pace until her entire person was enveloped in it. The tingling intensified and she felt weak in the knees. And suddenly, oh so suddenly. Something changed.

Orange fading, autumn melting away. The color drained from her face. Hands. Everything. And suddenly, she was pink. Pink. Of all the colors in the world, and she was pink. Not mention, a terribly, horribly, horrendously eye-bleeding color of pink. It was already hard enough to go unnoticed being orange. And now she was pink? Wonderful. Spectacular. Not.

"Pink." She managed out. Her voice sounded composed,  but her eyes showed absolute terror. And pain. Oh God, it hurt to even look at her own fur. "Ow." And came the screams. "Ow." Not only her eyes, her ears were aggravated now too. Shakily pulling out her earplugs, Amber practically shoved them in her ears. Allowing the ringing and twitching to subside, the wolf then attempted to take a look at what was going on around her.

Oh my.

Boubka was a girl. Echo was fused with some person she didn't recognize, and Twilight... He lost his wings. Maybe hadn't received the worst effect, like being turned into a cactus or part crocodile. But her transformarion hurt her, and the others she was sure, just as well.
