New Teachings

It was a normal, mild, boring old day. Citizens moved from point A to point B with their day to day tasks. Upon closer inspection however, in a local building. Some signs were put up, black signs with white text.

“OPEN NOW!”

“Martial Arts and Hand2Hand Combat Training!”

“Inquire Within! Strictly 16+”

How bizarre, the signs didn’t say or display anything else except those words, and the building they were plastered too was very rarely used for much if anything. Surely no one would actually take this offer up? Right?

Well, should any one decide to follow these vaguely written signs, they would find themselves in a large, open room. It had many lights but all were dimmed in order to make the room darker. 

In the centre of this room was a rather tall Mobian figure. Her fur was a pitch black, yet had an accent of yellow running directly through the middle of her fur. Her long hair was tied up behind her head, and her eyes were closed. She wore a black and white vest top with stylised edges, along with a pair of Lycra shorts and tall thigh high boots. Finished off with some white sports tape wrapped around her fists. Clearly, she was dressed for movement, and combat.

It had been a quiet day out. He could certainly appreciate that.

Having been in town for the last day or so, just resting up after the trip that brought him here. Today, he had decided to head out and check out a couple of places that he had passed the previous day when he'd been looking for a place to stay a night or two.

He'd checked out a few places to eat at as a couple of others to shop for food, clothes and other potential supplies. After doing all of that, he now found himself  back in front of a building with white on black signs advertising combat training. From outside, the building didn't look like much. There didn't appear to be much in the way of activity around it either.

Much like the rest of the day, it was quiet here too.

And that suited him fine as well. Meant there were fewer distractions. Maybe he'd even be able to find an experience like the ones he'd had under his former master all those years ago...

Shaking his head, he then steps forward and makes his way inside. There he finds an open room that is dimly lit. Even in this darker setting, he stands out a bit. His silver fur was able to catch what little light was available. Anyone inside, whose eyes had adjusted would be able to spot him easily and take note of his wolf features. His clothing was only a bit better. His dark grey jacket and loose fitting blue jeans didn't stand out much, but the light blue shirt he had on under his open jacket certainly did.

After looking around for several moments, which didn't do him much good as his eyes were still adjusting to the darkness, he announces his presence simply.

"Hello?"

-Well after his mysterious return back too his home, the unique yet still mysterious figure referred by many names had been on the road for weeks now, looking for answers and information on beings, events and so forth. 

Why was he looking for all of this or what was driving him this far, who knows, most thought of the worst when they last heard his name, yet some how out of the blue here he was once more back again.

Arriving on scene as anonymous as ever, the tall figure entered the vicinity, having what remain of his self, BDU green cargo pants, black military grade steel cap combat boots, glove hand covering gloves, a green open front jacket, with shoulder pieces of armor, a white vest under that jacket, military grade bandolier and of course the helmet, the most distinct part of him. 

Citizens paid no attention too the figure. Lacking his old armor and and most of his gear did make him less threatening, tho he still had enough too warrant concern.

Strolling along the figure which just happen too chance glancing over at what few words resided on a complex too his left.

 "Open now, Martial arts hand too hand combat training"

Knowing full well he lacked advance hand too hand combat, he had only been trained in basic forms of it, but time and time again in his previous encounters it had been his greatest weakness rather preferring weapons too defeat his enemy.

He would enter unknowing what too expect, checking the place out before attempting too call out who ever was inside.-

'Uh, hello...any one here..I'v just been reading the sign out side and wanted too come and see about training ?" 

The figure stood in the middle grunted as she was made aware of the presence of not one, but two arrivals into the dim room.

She lowly opened her eyes, her yellow hues staring down the two that had entered. She remained silent for a good few seconds, before stepping forward slowly, arms firmly by her sides. 

"If training is what you want.. well, you certainly have found the right place.." She spoke in her low tone, eyes darting between them.

"But be warned... this is not kiddies karate class.. if you want to learn the art of combat, you need to lay your life and hopes within it." She warned, her voice droning as she then turned her back on them, beginning to walk back to the center of the room.

"You have my warning, you can leave now, or prepare yourself for a long, rough road ahead~" She said, smirking as she finished speaking, something about being the one in control here, it pleased her.

After issuing his hello, the wolf notices someone else entering the room after him and then calling out a greeting as well. The wolf tilts his head slightly to one side as he regards this tall stranger who wore a helmet.

There was something... familiar about this person. Damned if he was able to place them at all though. For now the wolf just decides to file that away for later consideration.

He then realizes that a third person is already in the room as they draw near and address them. He listens to her words and her warning. Something about it feels... off to him. Much different than his previous master...

But, maybe it would still be worthwhile. Just because of a different personality and probably a different approach, wouldn't mean there would be nothing for him to gain from it.

Without actually offering a response, the wolf begins following her towards the center of the room.

-Her tone seem too suggest this was a place where all bets were off, no easy mode or holding hands nonsense, in other words his kind of place too be in, he liked her tone one spoke with authority and control, brought back memories of his limited time in the military of how his commanding officer would address those of lower rank before him.

the masked figure would glance over too the other being in the room before him, Mobian wolf of origin yet had nothing that he could remember, currently suffering from a large amnesia problem after his "mysterious return" perhaps in time his memory may jolt and suddenly remember something, but for now it was blank as all can be.

Turning his head back too the Mobian lady instructor he knew he had come here for a very good reason, it is all good and well shooting things from a far, but there was always the what if they got close. Well in those cases the outcome was being utterly screwed.

No more however he was going too finish this.

"Well I came here for a reason, throw what you got at me. Although this sounds exactly what I am looking for, straight too the point no nonsense CQB training. Ready when you are command-- sorry..force of habit I guess...ready when you all are."

The woman then stopped in the middle of the room. Her back facing them as she slowly raised her arms a bit to place them on her hips. 

"Hm... very well then. Understand that if you either fail to obey my tasks or do not meet expectations, I will not hesitate in making you regret your choice to enter here." She would grin to herself once more before taking a sharp breath in.

She would then turn herself back around to face the pair, widening her stance and raising her arms, before cracking her knuckles loudly.

"Both of you, come at me, now." She said in a commanding tone, beckoning them to attack her.

The wolf continues to listen as the teacher continues to lay out details regarding her methods. He bothers him a bit as she does so. It seemed rather... unnecessary. Demanding obedience like that. Not exactly his strong suit...

He glances at the other student there, who seems to take this all in stride. He wasn't sure what to think of that. When the other person said the word 'commander' though, it gave the wolf the impression that they were used to taking orders.

Then, their teacher essentially ordered them to attack her. Momentarily puzzled, the wolf glances towards his partner for this exercise. Then he just shrugs and nonchalantly walks up to their teacher. He raises his arms up in front of his torso, into more of a defensive position, with his paws open. He then comes to a stop a little less than an arm's length from her.

Figuring he may as well start with something simple and direct, he throws a quick, straight right jab towards her upper chest.

-Shrike had limited hand too hand combat training prior too his G.U.N service, so he had basics but never really went beyond that, they were taught with firearms mostly so this was more or less new ground, but he still had some technique. 

She wanted them both too come at her and attack, not really knowing how too approach this, Shrike glanced over at the give, giving him a little shrug of "not really sure what too do."

He simply did as he was taught and adding a little instinct along the way, getting the distinct feeling he was going too have his ass handed too him, not the first time that happened.

Shrike would follow in suite with the wolf, delivering a simple punch, yet with a hefty force, he may of not had technique but he had power in the punch.-

She simply watched as they approached. Huffed loudly. She had clearly became very unhappy, VERY quickly. She stood forward a bit as they approached her.

She they gritted her teeth together as they both swung punches, she threw her own arms forward and caught their fists in her palms with some impressive speed.

"You lack need, no speed, no urgency, this isn't a game, you should fight to live!" She said, suddenly squeezing on their fists with a impressive, almost unnessacary force as she stared them down.

Her yellow eyes never left there, continuing to look on sternly, an unhappy expression across her face.

The wolf raises an eyebrow slightly as she blocks their attacks effortlessly. The corner of his mouth turns upward slightly. His other eyebrow raises to match the first in response to her statement. Then as he notes the sudden increase in pressure as she squeezes his paw with hers, he lets out a breath calmly but does nothing else in response.

Immediately afterwards though, as the surprised reaction leaves his face, the wolf attempts to draw back his right paw from the teacher's grasp. He pivots his body so that his left side faces her and letting his weight shift back to his right leg. At the same time, he thrusts his left paw towards her currently exposed face.

-Impressed should halted his punch, with little too no effort, that was a pretty hefty through he gave her, I guess technique beats raw strength in this regard. He would look over his shoulder too see that the wolf had also been met with the same outcome however he was not looking too impressed by it, instead he seemed too only want too through another punch which he did so towards her exposed face.

Shrike would attempt too do the same thing only difference is that he opted for a straight clear utter cut, getting himself down as low as he could too bring as much of his force too bear striking upwards towards her, surely now there was no way she could stop this. Her hands were already occupied stopping their original punches.

"Huh, no bad...pretty hefty punch you manage too stop there..not every day you see that...but let's see you stop these!" 

The woman huffed once again, watching closely as she was attacked with both another swing, along with an uppercut.

She grunted, suddenly jumping back a good distance, keeping hold of their hands until the last minute as to throw their balance off.

"Show some sense of urgency! Come on!" She was shout with a substantial amount of anger. 

She still hadn't attempted to hit either of them herself, rather trying to make them slip up and show how their technique is lacking, only, it was up to them to figure that out.

The wolf finds resistance as he tries to withdraw his paw and she initially doesn't let go. Once she does, in order to jump back from the two attacks thrown at her, the wolf is set in his current position enough that her attempt to pull him off balance is ineffective.

He relaxes himself when she doesn't retaliate and instead chooses to berate them again. The wolf tilts his head slightly and regards her with a look of mild amusement.

Without looking to his partner, the wolf springs forward towards her, drawing back his right arm for another strike. As he lands a short distance ahead of her, he swings out his right paw quickly, aiming for her upper chest again... only to suddenly stop short to try and avoid any blocking attempt she might make. If he was successful in doing so, he'd quickly draw his right arm back in towards his body and sidestep towards her right.

-Shrike came in hard once more going with the standard tech taught by the military, coming in with a heavy left, heavy right, slight duck followed by a powerful cross punch. 

He perhaps thought if he pushed it far enough and kept up a constant barrage of punches and or swings perhaps at least one might get through. 

Seems like the wolf was having issues of also landing any successful hits, this of course did not deter Shrike from at least demonstrating he had some technique, some was better then none. 

He was still waiting for her too retaliate which he had no seen, all she had been doing was either blocking or straight out avoiding their attacks.

How much longer they had too keep doing this was unknown, guess until one of them gave up trying too punch her or ran out of stamina in which too do so.-

Kelina however, pulled out something a little more acrobatic. Deciding to lean down enough to jump up into the air, directly over her two 'students'. Landing firmly behind them.

"Relying on nothing but pure offence, I'm beginning to think this is a waste of me time!" She scolded, sounding much angrier.

And now, she would finally begin, charging towards their backs with a good burst of speed, aiming with her two elbows directly for the centers of their spines, should it connect, it would be, very painful to say the least.

She surprises him by not trying to block and instead leaps clear over him and his partner. It made him pause for a moment, impressed by her mobility, which almost cost him as she again berated them then charged at their backs. He's barely able to duck and then roll out of the way of her attack.

He comes up onto one knee, facing towards her and preparing to block should she immediately follow up.

-For the life of him he could not land any thing upon her, despite the various rapid strikes, nothing was getting through, he had never encountered some one who could evade as effective as she was doing.

Once more she seemed too avoid direct contact of any sorts against the two, instead bounding right over them, leaving Shrike too watch as she flew right over him landing away.

The snarky remarks were probably an attempt too round them up, if at all little effect on Shrike too be honest.

Now she seemed too be on the offence her self coming in directly for them, giving only limited time for reaction, Shrike's reaction was fast..faster then normal and in fact faster then even considered normal.

He had swung back around giving his left side shoulder as a means of blocking, using it too absorb any incoming punch, hit or what ever she was planning.-
