The Masquerade

Julian was knocked off for Sweetie to make her escape from the hold, and just as Julian was regaining composure Darren had already been taken. In a panic, she looked to where he was being taken, then her gave flicked around the room as she noticed no one seemed to be reacting...

"What the hell is wrong with you people?!", she screamed before looking to Rena, then dashing to grab Darren's gun.
She didn't know what she was doing but this guy needed help...
When she tried to open the door she noticed it must have been barricaded. With that, using vampiric strength she began slamming into the door, trying to bang it down or at least move it along with the barricade...

The "customers" in the shop ignored Julian's outburst, some even appeared annoyed by it. It was obvious that they were no normal customers.

Sweetie stopped in her tracks as Darren pulled out a knife, announcing that he wouldn't let her kill him. "Kill?" She tilted her head with a wide grin on her face. "Now, who ever said I was going to kill?" Just as she finished her sentence she heard a loud bang coming from the barricaded door. With Julian's strength she knew it wasn't going to stand for much longer. She had to act fast if she didn't want to deal with multiple enemies again. 

She starred at Darren and prepared to charge at him once more. She didn't seem at all fazed by the fact that he was now armed with a knife. With a burst of speed she thrusted herself forward, gliding through the air and heading straight for him,
or so one would think.
Instead she shot right past him, but as she did so she dug her nails into the wooden floor, tearing it up and forcing herself to slow down. She redirected herself, turning to face Darren before she charged at him from behind. All of this happening in a matter of seconds.

Darren's eye had a look of panic as he attempted to block her attack... only for it to never come. He barely registered the attack didn't land as he got hit from behind.

"Please... don-" Those were the last words he got out of his mouth before he was hit as Sweetie would see his eyes water, Obviously showing great fear as  he desperately tried to fight back.

Meanwhile Rena had gron both angry and impatient. With a small spin a large light hammer appeared in her hands, she held it out to Julian with an abnormal seriousness for her age.

"Use this, we gotta help mister Darren... please," she was holding back tears as she begged for help. She didn't want the monster to hurt her friend.

Hearing the noise behind the door, she realized she had no time for reassuring the young machine, taking the hammer which she barely registered was made of light, and swung the hammer down on the door at full strength.
Vampiric strength fueled by anger and adrenaline, using... some sort of special hammer.
That should do something.

She didn't fully register some of the customer's responses or reactions, raging, "GET OUT OF THERE YOU FREAK- GGGRAAH-" She screamed out, growing hysterical as her voice had a slight grunge to it, seeming slightly more masculine.
She was determined to help Darren.

The heavy shelf barricading the room was knocked over from the constant battering. The multiple beatings unhinged and cracked the door, causing it to break apart. What was left of it fell onto the shelf that now lay on the floor.

This incident distracted Sweetie as she turned to look at the mess. However, that was not her main focus. She looked at Darren with a grin, and quickly came in, about to bite him.

Darren could feel the burning and pain as Sweetie comped into him. He gritted his teeth as he struggled to pull free, feeling his blood drain. In that moment he heard Rena cry out as the door busted open.

"Get... off... ME!"

For a split second he'd turn and catch Sweeties dead in the eye, His own turning a dead black as his blood flared and burned with what little demonic saturation it had. Taking the knife he proceeded to try jabbing it into Sweeties side, trying to get her let go.

Rena on the other hand saw this and her own Eyes lit up as she dashed forwards getting ready to attack the creepy vampire lady.

With the door knocked off its hinges, destroyed onto the shelf, what was made apparent was a viciousness fueled by kindness and...
Well, adrenaline at this point.
Rena rushed forward to attack, Darren went into his own rage. Deciding for once to not rush in, both her hands began collecting moisture from the rooms. The air was about to get a hell of a lot drier.
With bubbles of water almost engulfing her abdomen from where her hands were at her sides, she out them together, making the bubble even larger, and swung downwards diagonally. The water in the bubble extended outward, becoming more like a beam or a blade, being swung across Sweetie as to not hurt Darren or Rena.
Assuming Rena doesn't get in the way.

As Darren threw himself into a demonic rage, Sweetie could taste the change in his blood. It stung and was not to her liking, so she pulled away. However, she was soon met with a knife in her side. She flinched, but was otherwise unfazed by the action. At the time, all she felt was the pressure. 

She knew she was going to end up being targeted by the other two. In an attempt to evade them, she pushed off of Darren, launching herself to the side. As she landed on her feet, the pain from her wound became noticeable to her as the feeling started to kick in. This caused her to stagger upon landing. Keeping herself up, she starred at Darren. "Thanks for the snack~" 

She winced. The pain becoming more apparent. She gritted her teeth and grabbed the handle of the knife, pulling it from her side. She stood there panting, twirling the weapon in her hand. The blood began to soak her clothes. She got what she wanted. Now, she was on the defense.

Darren fell to his knees holding his neck, an unnatural burning feeling in the area surrounding the bite. A moment later his eyes returned to normal and the burning stopped, it was obvious he didn't realize anything had happened. He was held onto as Rena ran to him and hugged him, tears forming in her eyes.

"Mister Darren are you ok?"

He gave a reassuring smile as he got up and turned to Sweetie, putting Rena behind himself.

"I'll be ok, don't worry... just... need a minute..."

Right now he just wanyed out of there, pure plain and simple. She hadn't killed him and he definitely wasn't going to stick around and see if she decided to. He began to inch his way to the door to escape, trying be indiscrete as hopefully the other vampire who had been helping them would keep her distracted.

She growled. The attack missed, but at least Darren seemed to be safe.
While Sweetie technically got what she wanted, which felt like a spit to her face after all the trouble they had trying to make it so he kept all his blood, she didn't seem happy with it.
After a bit, she chuckled, a vicious tone to her voice, "What, you didn't like the taste? You're fucking insane, I'll have this place shut down after this bullshit!"

Deciding to not waste her time anytime with water, she grabbed her bat again. She knew Darren and Rena wanted to leave, and in case Sweetie posed any problems, she needed to be on guard, ready for any potential attack against them. She did not intend to be the first one to attack, however.

It wasn't easy to slip past Sweetie. She looked at Darren, and shot him a menacing grin. "Going so soon? It was fun playing with you." It almost looked like she was about to attack again, but she didn't. Instead, she bid him a farewell. She got what she wanted, and didn't see a reason in pursuing any further "Don't be afraid to come back sometime~" She spoke with kindness, but there was an underlying tone of malice. 

She took her focus off of them after hearing Julian shout utter nonsense about getting her store shut down. She couldn't help, but laugh. "Let me know when that happens~" She relaxed, but kept her guard up. "Well, if you don't mind, I have some cleaning up to do." She said as a way of telling her to shoo off.
