Appearance: Screech has contrasting black and white skin. She has purple eyes, as well as three fins on her head. One pointed fin on the top of her head curving to the back, and two rounded fins that hang down like hair. She has white markings over her eyes. she has a long tail that splits into two fins horizontally. For clothing Screech wears a navy blue wet suit that has a white v-shaped collar and two white gill-like markings on each side. She wears white gloves with light blue ring bracelets that were her mother's. For footwear, Screech wears custom made navy blue combat boots that have white patterning on them.

Personality:
Screech is fun-loving and loves to help people. However, she is reluctant to make new friends due to her training as a royal guard to not trust strangers. This is not to say that she is unfriendly, she just hardly ever lets her guard down around other people she is not familiar with.



Combat traits


Powers:
Screech has the ability to emit powerful sonic waves recorded powerful enough to shatter 4-inch glass when she screams. She also has heightened sensory abilities, almost like a built in sonar. Her bracelets can also create a light blue spear made of pure energy.


Strengths:
- Screech is very skilled in hand-to-hand, as well as weaponry, combat thanks to her royal guard training.

-  Being an aquatic mobian, Screech can hold her breath underwater for a long time before having to come up for air.

- Since she has extrasensory abilities, Screech is able to sense most dangers to herself before they happen.


Weaknesses:
- Screech has to focus to use her energy spear, so if you get her distracted, she won't be able to use her weapon.

- Screech's sensory abilities can also be used against her. If too many things are happening around her, her sensory abilities get confused and can't send the alert signals to her brain to react.

- Screech is slightly afraid of lava (More on that in the history section.)

Positive relations
- Chinu, Wen | Screech's 12 year old brother. Screech loves hanging out with her brother and teaching him about anything he is curious about.

- Chinu, Dalor | Screech's crippled father. Screech offers help to him as much as she can, but he likes to do things on his own, despite his disability of having to use a cane to walk.

- Chinu, O-Lin | Screech's deceased mother. O-Lin was captain of the royal guard and was the one responsible for Screech's combat training. Sadly, she was killed protecting her city, leaving Screech to take up more responsibility in her family.

- Skil-Re, Jek | The 18 year old prince of Fildor and Screech's best friend. Jek was the one who gave Screech her nickname. She hangs out with him whenever she isn't training or helping her dad. Though she might deny it, she secretly has a crush on him.

History
Screech, along with her family, come from a small volcano island civilization comprised of orcas, known as Fildor. Fildor is ruled by the great king Skil-re, Tel. Similar to Chinese culture, the Fildorians put their family name before their given name. All Fildorian orcas are born with heightened sensory abilities, but Screech soon found that she was special.
    One day, Screech's mother and King Tel decided it would be good for Screech and Prince Jek to do combat training together. Screech and Jek walked to the center of the training field on the beach. They bowed to each other as Screech said,

"Don't go easy on me because I'm a girl!"

"Don't worry, I don't plan to! I've seen you train before!"

O-Lin then announced the start of the spar. They both fought very well. Neither of the two able to land a hit. Suddenly Jek managed to sweep Screech's legs and knock her down.

"Come on Quin! I know you can do better than that!" Jek said as he brushed sand off his shoulder.

Screech then got back up then let out an intimidation shout towards Jek. But what happened next was something no one expected. Large shock waves emerged from Screech's mouth when she shouted. Jek was sent flying across the training field, landing face first in a large puff of sand. Screech was shocked by the sudden power she had discovered. She rushed over to Jek and knelt down beside him.

"Jek, are you okay?! Say something!"

Jek lifted his head and spit sand out of his mouth.

"Nice trick, Screech."

Screech was relieved that Jek was okay, but she suggested that they stop training for the day. O-Lin looked to King Tel and he agreed. A power like this is something life changing. He recommended Screech and O-Lin head home for some rest.  Just then, Screech heard a ringing in her ears.

"Do you guys hear that?"

The rest of the group shook their heads.

Suddenly, the ground started shaking. Smoke abruptly bellowed from the mouth of the island volcano. Screech turned white with fear.

"The volcano is going to erupt!" Screech said. "We need to warn the rest of the island!"

The group ran towards the houses of the island, shouting for people to get to the ships.

"O-Lin, the bell!" King Tel exclaimed.

O-Lin ran towards a giant bell in the center of the living area of the island. It was the emergency bell of the royal guard. The entire royal guard rushed as fast as they could to the bell. Once everyone was there, O-Lin shouted,

"The island volcano is about to erupt! We need to get everyone to the ships!"

The royal guard then ran towards the beach, helping get families into the ships to escape the incoming danger. Screech made it to her family's house and helped her father and brother get to the rescue ships. She then started helping other people escape. Just then, a large ear-bursting explosion erupted from the mouth of the volcano. Lava started pouring from the large mountain. They were running out of time. O-Lin then turned to her daughter, seeing her help more of the people get onto the last ship. She ran over to her and said,

"Quin, get on the ship!"

"No, what about you?!"

O-Lin took off her blue bracelets, then lifted Screech's hand up to put the bracelets in it. She then put both of her own hands over her daughter's.

"I'll be ok. I'll always be with you, Quin."

Tears started dripping down Screech's face. She hugged her mother before walking over to the rescue ship.
    As she floated on the ship towards the mainland, she looked down at her mother's bracelets. She heard her mother's voice once again.

"I'll always be with you, Quin. Always."

She put on her mother's bracelets and thought of her. The bracelets started to glow. A glowing energy spear magically materialized in Screech's hands. She stared at the spear for a while until she decided something. She would become the best royal guard Fildor ever had, so that something like this would never happen again.
