Dragon Origions: The Kindgom Under the Sun

Once upon a time, as every story starts, in a kingdom far far away, there lived a wealthy kingdom of Farden. 

The sun was setting, a mixture between rosy red and peach orange. Whatever rays of sunlight left filled the large open door, one that connected an open balcony into a large ellegant bedroom. A bedroom of which two princesses were preparing for a ball that night. 

"Must I really wear this thing?" The small hedgehog princess asked as she held out a golden dress, of which seemed to sparkle and glow when the sun's rays hit it. 

"What are you going to go in then? Nothing?" A cream colored hedgehog one that looked nothing like her sister, laughed. "You are a princess," She began as she fixed a sily blue dress that fit her torso but fanned out below her waist. Her sleves ended about her mid bisecp but drapped lace grew down past her arms. Her older sister had the same style dress. "You will be queen one day." She said as she fixed her quills and bangs infront of the mirror.

"But Emiora, you are next in line and are younger than me. I have no worries. I'll be a princess forever." She said as she got in her dress. 

"And are you mad because of it?" Emiora questioned as she looked at her sister through the mirror.

"No, but others are not happy because of it." She said slinking the dress up. As she started to fit into her dress, she had some troubles trying to tie it. 

Emiora smiled as she turned to face her sisiter. She went over to her hand spun her around till her back faced her. She then began to tie her dress. "They picked me because they knew I had power, you know that Emiora... and so should everyone in our kingdom." She paused. "It would have been a real problem if I wasn't so cute." She giggled. 

The brown hedgehog giggled. "Cute? You're beautiful. You should have been the first born."

She finished tieing her up. "Oh Willow Grace... don't say such things..  We are nearly the same age. Just different mothers is all. Now," She went over and grabbed two masks. She helped Willow with hers and vis versa. "Now we must get ready get going, the ball awaits.

"what about our crowns? Are we not going to wear them?" She asked.

Emiora smiled as she was fixing her sisters quills, just as a mother would. "If we want tonight to be extravagantly fun... then why give out identities away?" 

Willow caught her sisiters smile. "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!!" The two sisters then left the room smiling and giggling ready for this wonderus ball. 

Just outside, waiting on a balcony stood, two mischievous wolf twins bickered. 

"This is wrong, we shouldn't be here." said the orange one.

"Ahh, but how will we ever get laid?" He smirked the blue.

"Maximus!" He punched his brother. "These are fine ladies, I will not have you say as such."

He rubbed his arm, a smirk still upon his face "Fine ladies indeed. . . I tell you what. We shall go to this dance and win over their hearts. We shall live as kings when we both wed. But I get first pick."

He blushed. "I shall not contribute to such acts." 

"Then I shall take them both as my queens." 

" . . . Then I will stop you at all costs. This is wrong. We are not even noble men yet you want to take princesses to bed."

"Doesn't everyone?" Maximus stated, just before he left . . . Now leaving Spyritus alone on the balcony.

Spy sighed. he knew their father was going to scold them later for this. "Maximus... I'm going to kill you if we get banished for this" he said walking after his brother. Maximus grinned "my my mister goody two shoes is in?" spy groaned. "Ya ya. but no bedding them. otherwise father will have both our heads and we'll be exiled." the twin walked down the halls of the castle toward the princesses tower. "now lets have a look at our pickings." maximus said walking up the stairs. " max no. you idiot we are not allowed up the tower without permission!" "lighten up will you."

Sounds of giggles and chatter echoed down the wide hall. 

"Do you really think that I'll meet 'the one'?'"

Emiora looked towards her golden sister. "Anything is possible my dear sister. I might even." She giggled.

Max grinned "here I come ladies"

Maximus blood wolf stop!" Spyritus said grabbin his brother pulling him back down. "Can't you at least wait for the royal ball. And try to hope we'll be lucky?"

Max shook his head. "No and you can't stop me spyritus." He said wrenching himself away from his brother going up

"Then you've made your choice" he said walking away.

"Oh, I forgot something.. hold on." Willow smiled and turned around. "Go on ahead of me." She said dashing back up the stairs and into her room. Willow then began to search through her many drawers. Unknowing the stranger in her room, she continued to look. "Oh... where is it?"

"maybe i can help" max spoke up steping out off the shadows. "Tell me princess what can your valiant knight Maximus blood wolf help you find."

Spy grumbled walking down the hall but then he bumped into Princess emiora making her fall back. " oh good heavens your highness. I sincerly apologize." he said going to help her up

Willow straightened up. "!" She quickly turned to the voice and blushed. "Well... I-" She studied his face. "umm.." She took her mask off. "I'm looking for a handkerchief my mother had given me."

She rubbed her head. "Dear me... are you in a hurry?" Emiora asked as she stood. She sighed slightly as she fixed her dress. As she finished, she laughed. "Just be glad I don't have you head." She smiled, but that smile easily fell as she studied him. "I have never seen you within these walls before. . .."

"thats because i'm new.... i'm spyritus timber wolf son of the captain of the guard... i'm suppose to be in the ball room acting as a guard but my brother pulled me out.... forgive me princess.... i should return to my post" he said walking for the ball room

Max smiled holding up a hankerchief "It would look pretty on you my princess."

She couldn't help but smile. "Now, how did you get that?"

"So you are one of the twins I suppose?" Emiora bellowed. "Come forth, I wish to speak with you."

Max smiled. "i found it on your nightstand" he said walking over. handing it to her.

Spy stopped in his track walking nervously back to the princess. "Yes Princess" he said bowing

"Why as your brother casted you off?" Emiroa asked.

His hand brushed his skin... making her jump a little. "Did you climb this tower?" She asked... playing with the cloth at hand.

Spyritus sighed. "He wanted me to go with me to your and your sister tower.... i tried to stop him but he's probably up in the tower waiting" He said telling the truth.

"i climbed the stairs." max said. "on your way to the ball my lovely princess?"

"Yes I am.. I was on my way actually. I have to give several speeches. Are you going?" She questioned.

Emiora covered her mouth. "No... she just went up there to grab something... She cannot be alone with any man! Guards! Guards!"

Spy sighed. "their all in the ball room... i'll go" he said running. "go get my father!"

"I was on my way there till my brother told me to come and escort you" he lied

She nodded, picked up her dress, and ran as fast as she could.

"An Escort?" She giggled and held out her hand. "Then we shall be well on our way."

the captain of the guard was with King Winchester. "all things are going right old friend." Sir Wolf Said

"let us go my dear" he saidtaking her hand

"Maximus!"

Max tenced as his brother stood in front of him.

"You shouldn't be here.... princess emiora is getting father"

The brown hedgehog looked to the wolf. "I hope so! This night has to be perfect for my little willow's birthday."

Emiora continued to run through the halls. Panting and such.

Willow looked at the boys. "Twins.. . .?

"oh thats right she's marrying age this year." he said

"why did you tell on me you goody two shoes wimp." max said

"Because you know the punishment for being alone with the princesses is exile!"

"Ah yes... Why yes, she is. My perfect little Willow will become of age. Hopefully I will find a fine suitor for her.

Willow stood there looking between the two, covering her mouth.

Emiora ran in, panting. "Father... Willow..."

Sir wolf tenced. hearing emiora and dashed.

"So what i'm just escorting her to the ballroom"

"well we have to go now before father yells at us both. i tried to warn you Maximus Blood!"

"shut up Spyritus!"

"Guys shut up.." Willow said as she went to the door. The sound of footsteps that she heard grew louder and louder. "If you both get caught," she went over to them and pushed them into a closet, "then you'll both get exiled." She said pushing a key under the door so that they could unlock it from the inside as she locked it outside.

She then looked around todo something... She went for the perfume.

Sir wolf entered the room. "Princess willow. Is everything alright? Your sister said you were in trouble"

"Ahh, I am quiet alright. I just needed something my mother had given me. ... It's my good luck charm. I don't know what I would be without it." She said giving him a smile. "I was frantic about it.... How is my father? I havnt seen him all day and I assume you have."

"He worried he won't find a suitor for you willow." He said. "I remember when you use to call me uncle wolf... Why couldn't you have stayed that small" he smiled

Max and spirits sat quietly listening

"Oh... I havnt grown much you know." She blushed from embarrassement.
