Xavier heard the 'click' of the lock, and then opened the door, walking into the house as normally as possible. He glanced around, considering that maybe the kid had left earlier and this was all pointless... but a quick check wouldn't hurt. He just wouldn't touch anything. "...Kid?... Upon entering the interior of the residence he would discover that the house was rather luxurious for a middle class abode. All around the interior were Greek like architecture and also lots of artwork. Also in the premises was a lot of books on shelves and what appeared to be various articles of study. Meanwhile the kid continued to keep quiet, he didn't buy the person's lie one bit. He had been so much distrust to believe that someone kidnapping his mother and entering her house without wanting was obviously some sort of operation. All the child did was keep still, tune in with his foxy ears, and wait.

Xavier took some time to study his surroundings. He wasn't used to houses like these. Or houses at all in honesty, but once he was somewhat bored, he decided to begin with threats instead. "If you don't come out, Now, I promise you, harm WILL come to your mother!" He bluffed, feeling heartless but telling himself not to care. It was a complete lie, since what happened to the kid's mother was out of his control.

The child listened in on these words, suddenly he couldn't stand it any longer. He had to let it out. He got up from hiding and prepared himself. The way he saw it fighting was his only option.

"She's not the one they're after! I'm the experiment killer!" The child blurted out.

Xavier was actually surprised to see the kid standing there, not too far away. He hadn't expected him to want a fight really. He almost let put a sigh of relief for having found him, and he tried to stay calm, putting his hands up in defense. "Im sorry to tell you kid but your mom hasnt been taken because they think she killed someone..." He shook his head "But that's quite a confession..."

"You know what I think? I think you're nuts, and you've gone too far!" Xavier said angrily. He turned his arm into the small canon and pointed it at the child. He didn't know if he would shoot or not, but he did not take lightly to death threats, especially from children.

Xavier backed away from him again, turning and pointing his canon at the kid once more. He realized at this point that he could never shoot a child, and inwardly cursed himself for his weakness. "Well I'm sorry your life can't be a piece of cake!!" He exclaimed sarcastically

"You're going to be sorry! PSI-drain!" The child let out as he put out his hand and suddenly red arcs of what appeared to be some sort of bizarre electricity like energy was unleashed from his hand directly at Xavier!

Xavier was too surprised and curious to dodge it, and his eyes widened. "What-!?" Was all he said before it hit him.

As he was 'zapped' by the arc he would feel something very bizarre, while he wasn't being electrocuted, Xavier would start to feel a very bad migraine. Even more dire was the fact his body's energy seemed to be draining from him and he would feel not only less focus, but also perhaps maybe losing consciousness as well. The child grinned a rather sadistic grin as he kept doing whatever he was doing to him.

Xavier shouted from the pain in his head and dropped onto his knees, closing his eyes tightly and willing it to stop. He slowly opened one eye as he looked up at the kid. His vision was blurry and unfocused as he tried to aim his canon at him. He fired repeatedly, hoping to hit his target even though his arm was off. He no longer had a care in the world who his enemy was.

The child saw this and immediately teleported once more, this time to an undisclosed location. However his 'draining' or whatever he was doing was stopped for the time being. An odd quiet soon felt the room, but all around Xavier may realize that he could be anywhere.

Xavier stayed where he was for a moment, as if waiting for the child to reappear and finish him off. When he felt he wasn't coming back, he got to his feet a bit clumsily, put his glasses on and turned his robotic arm back to normal. "They don't pay me enough for this..." He mumbled to himself. With the kid gone to who knows where, the only option he had right now was to return back to base and hope the child's mom was awake.

Unknown to him however the child had escaped outside and gotten on the rooftop. At this moment though the boy remembered that Ophelia was on the line and thus he decided to wait for backup to help him. He really wanted to finish off the GUN goon, but he knew that this person was his only shot at finding where she was.

The child watched and waited, he hid on his belly observing Xavier while staying out of the light. He had done this before, the kid was great at hiding ever since he left that old facility with her some time ago.
