Three tailed trouble.

Gear was making his way through town after being out and about in one of the many zones outside Central city. his body gleamed with scratches and scuffs from his training practicing.
he walk, exhausted, through town heading to the park to relax and recover. then he could hopefully head to the guild go on missions later and maybe meet up with Aaron.

he finally got to the park which was near the middle of town. it had small sidewalks and a large pond that had a bridge to one side overlooking it. it had many park benches and a few pavilions where he could see a few couples sitting or the occasional group of kids playing nearby.

"Ah..." Gear thought as he walked out onto the bridge and leaned on the railing, "Great day to just hang out and enjoy the outdoors. hopefully I can find Aaron soon."

Peaceful, relaxing... The perfect place to rest and clear your thoughts. The park was rather happy with all of the humans and Mobians playing around in it. 
Different people had different ways of enjoying it... 

A green machine came into view. She smiled, even machines were coexisting with the living for once. She felt a strange sensation come off of them... She didn't fully mind, she just knew there was more to the robot then being just that, a robot. 

Some children laughed as a somewhat large bird flew past in search of something, the bird with dark gray feathers not at all hidden in the bright sunlight... It flew into a tree. 
In the tree, if one looked close enough, they could see a dark figure crouched on a thick tree branch... 
"Hello," the figure spoke somewhat quietly to the bird, "did you find anything of interest, Kuro?"
The bird shook its head, making various chirping noises.
"Alright then, glad to hear. We should be able to just relax, then."
The bird, referred to as Kuro, chirped happily.

Masuka walked down the sidewalk towards the park. She was in a normal fox form illusion with her usual emerald colored eyes. She was wearing her scarf that was actually her trusty whip in disguise, her satchel filled to the brim with art supplies, and lastly a few pieces of chocolate stuffed in the side pocket.

While on her way down the path to the park she gripped onto her satchel nervously and mumbled to herself, "Why again did I agree to doing an art commission of a park in the middle of a town? She rummaged through her pockets and pulled out one ring. "Oh yeah, that's why." She put the ring back into her pocket. "Still, there is the risk someone will notice I'm a seasonal kitsune and then there is the chance of getting attacked, captured, and then living the rest of my life in a cage..." She stopped herself, took a deep breath, and exhaled. "Nope, I'm doing this art commission. I need to be able to afford food and shelter, I don't feel like sleeping on a rock tonight."

She arrived at the park then sat down on a bench. "Alright, what is the best angle..." She looked over at the pond then tilted her head to get a different look at it. "That will work quite well". She whipped out her sketch book and a pencil and began sketching the pond and some of the scenery around it.

Gear walked across the bridge and walked along the forest filled path with a bounce in his step and a upbeat tune playing from his audio speakers.
as he went on he soon noticed a girl sitting on a bench not to far away from him. she was rather average looking clothes. but this isn't hat caught his attention. for whatever reason she seamed to be... fuzzy. like a TV with bad signal or a glitch in a game. Gear didn't really know what to do and he didn't want to bother her. maybe it was this persons power? or was his own vision messing up? 

"Eh... why not?" he said as he shrugged and approached her. as he walked up he waved and called out a greeting.

"Heya! nice day today huh?"

 elsewhere, just on the other side of the pond a group of Mobians dressed in civilian clothing split up nd began to approach the Kitsunes position.

"Team one moving In. sniper ready?"

across the pond on the far right an unknown all black cat Mobian pearched inside a tree. an odd looking rifle held steady in his arms.
"Ready and waiting. target is in my sights"

"good, fire the sedation rounds on our signal."

"Roger tha- hold it... target has been approached by a... robot?"

"Hold your fire. wait until we are closer to engage. the boss wants her alive and unharmed."

the group continued to move in. all of them converging on the two from different directions.

Everything was peaceful for the moment...
Then the flicky took a good look around the area with its bird eyes as something felt very wrong.
Then 'Kuro' burst into constant chirping and generally freaking out Tokino.

"Stop it, Kuro, don't attract attention ple-", and then Kuro was off, leaving Tokino reaching out for them before deciding it best not to fall out if the tree.
She looked in the direction Kuro flew off in, seeing the all black cat with the... a- a rifle?!

Her eyes shot wide open as she quickly moved down along the trunk and out of the tree, looking around for anyone who may have seen her.
She would have judged the cat for not wearing anything that could help them hide better in trees, but she wasn't much better being a purple horse hidden within green leaves. She signed, knowing something was wrong - she checked for her katana, making sure she could quickly grab it if need be, then looked around...

Some people were just walking, others seemed... Out if place.
They were all walking with a purpose, something she could recognize from her time in Sliam - when people were hunting her down and had to get closer to her, they became slightly less inconspicuous then they were prior. It was noticeable because their target was quickly identified as well - well... targets, she realized she couldn't figure much else out of the situation other than there were a few people in normal civilian clothes - props to them for trying to hide better than herself or the black cat who Kuro was currently pestering to attract attention to them - converging on a point where the robot and a fox were.
The fox intrigued her, she wasn't sure why... they felt unusual... All bets were off that either these people just really hate robots, they are attracted to the fox, or both.
Saying nothing, she stayed off the sidewalk and walked through the grass behind the trees, passing off as someone just trying to relax while keeping Gear and the kitsune in the corner of her eye...

Masuka was drawing a bit faster than usual, not that she wasn't used to doing that occasionally when she did art commissions with a tight deadline, but she kept reminding herself that there was a pretty high risk of being noticed and it would be best to make it as quick as possible.

She completed her sketch and had started to add color to it. A robot appeared and greeted her, she flinched from the sudden surprise of a stranger speaking to her. She then looked up at him and replied, "Oh, hello. Yes, it's great weather to just enjoy being out and about". She was on guard, trying to judge if he was a threat or not. Masuka thought to herself, "If he was gonna try and capture me, he probably would have done something by now..." 

Suddenly a random dart whizzed past her head, barely missing her. She then twitched her ear in annoyance and turned to the direction it came from. "Looks like these people have skipped straight pass the talking portion to attacking". 

She turned back to the robot who was probably trying to register the dart that just flew past. "Uhh... excuse me for a moment". She sat up, walked foward a few steps, then created several illusions of herself. She proceeded to then comment with a decent amount of sass in her voice. "Hey, hey, hey, now. Wouldn't it be more fun to like, uhh... just dance or something?" The illusions all did a spin then ended in a bow. "You were already rude and skipped the introduction". None of the attackers looked amused. Masuka then got ready to defend herself. "This shall be interesting".

Gear was rather surprised as before he could even start to get to know the girl who was drawing that there was already people attacking. much less her. he watched as she seemed to create copies of herself. but just like her they were also fizzy to Gear. they appeared to glitched out as much as the fox. 

Gear stepped forwards. he wasn't one to stand by and just watch someone get teamed up on. 

"Mind If I help out?" he said with a smirk as he brought himself into a Boxer's stance, "After all. it's not nice to pick on a girl."

Shortly after, Tokino walked into the sidewalk, her hooves clopping against the cement as she looked on at the attackers on both sides, "Not very good at espionage I see."
She smiled, stepping backwards toward Gear and the kitsune alongside her many copies, facing the men that were coming from the bridge behind them. As Kurokiri cane back from the tree they attacked the sniper in to her mother's shoulder, Tokino reached for her blade, It's unkind to pick on such a young girl. I will fight alongside them and the machine - I'll make absolute certain no harm comes to the young lady."
She didn't pull, not yet, but energy seemed to quickly build up around her - her aura seemed to strengthen, while the air got a slight bit colder, strangely...

At this point, Masuka had lost loads of nervousness which was replaced with the will to defend herself at all costs. The robot stepped forward and offered his assistance, she started mentally counting the amount of attackers, "One, two, three, four... uhh... I don't have time to count these guys out".

She looked over her shoulder and nodded to the robot, "Sure, wish you luck". While she still had her head turned, she saw a horse rush in and stop behind her, back turned to them and ready to aid in defence. The horse spoke and said she was gonna protect the young lady, Masuka thought to herself, "Young lady? I've been around for approximately 3,000 years... Heh, I'll take the compliment through".

Masuka gave a thumbs up to the horse and proceeded to run in a circle with her illusions as if they were just about to play musical chairs, there was no telling who the real one was afterwards. She and all of her illusions ran out in different directions, the illusions disappeared shortly after when they hit solid objects like trees, benches and some of the attackers who shot at them thinking it was the real one.

Masuka, however, ran at one of the closest attackers then avoided a dart by sliding. Mid slide she grabbed a hold of her scarf and pulled it off, it transformed into a whip, she swung it and wrapped it around the attacker's leg then tripped him. "Alright, who's next?"

Gear dash forwards and delt several blows to another Goon and knocked them outta the fight. throwing up his shield he blocked several gunshots from some others. Gear could feel his his temper rising. Guns? in a public area? were they stupid?

he quickly shot towards and knocked some of the weapons out of the others hands and proceeded to don two more goons. unfortunately there were still a lot more around. at this point the civilians had already up and left in a panic. luckily this we ould clear the battlefield and make finding the actual enemies easier.

Tokino smiled softly, watching as the enemies focused on her for the moment. The fight had begun and things instantly went to Chaos as the illusions flashed around, though her hardened, focused mind barely acknowledged them other than knowing they weren't real.
The opponents were distracted though...

She rushed forward with a burst of speed, unsheathing her blade in a quick slash to literally disarm the first man, watching as he fell to his knees screaming in pain.
The others behind the man who clearky needed a hand in this fight began firing at her.
With great focus, the air grew even colder as she seemed to glow, reflecting the bullets off her blade back at the people in front of her and even cutting few a through...

Masuka approached the next target and used the whip to smack the tranquilizer gun out of his hand. He shook his hand up and down in pain, he then promptly got tugged by his wrist face first to the ground by her next whip attack. She leaned down and picked up the tranquilizer gun and without hesitation shot the dart at the next attacker, he dropped to the ground without a sound.

The area was now vacant besides Masuka, the robot, horse, and attackers. She glanced over to where Gear and Tokino were fighting to check how they were doing, "Seems like they are capable of fighting quite well". While she was glancing she noticed a dark figure in a tree across the pond, "Looks like I didn't spot one before, he isn't getting a shot that easily". Masuka sprinted towards the tree, being a seasonal kitsune, she knew not one of the goons would dare actually firing a bullet at her, she was too useful to just kill. This wasn't the case for the other two though. While she was running by, she watched as the robot threw a shield up to deflect bullets and the horse using her sword to the same.

Masuka got to the bridge where a goon attemped to block her way, she looked into his eyes and attempted hypnosis. She raised an eyebrow, "You know, I never got that dance I asked for earlier, want to?" He seemed to try and fight it for a second, but didn't hold out for long. He then held out his hand, she grabbed it then pulled him over the railing of the bridge into the pond with a splash. She continued heading towards the tree.

Gear Dashed forwards again as he swept more foes down. however he heard a bolt chilling scream that sent a chill up his Audio receptors. he turn to see the horse that joined the fight literally hacking and slashing the agents apart.

Gear shot between them and and knocked them and others back and threw up his shield again against Tokino.

"They may be enemies but I'm not letting you kill anyone. none lethal attacks or you getting taken down as well."

with that he dashed off after the Fox, following her where she was going.

Tokino was still reflecting bullets when Gear jumped between her and the attackers and activated his shield, surprising her.
She quickly dodged to the side the second Gear activated his shield out of pure reaction, a bullet zipping past her head.

"Are you fucking insane?", Tokino barked out, energy coursing through her as well as adrenaline.
Hearing him call her out for cutting a potential killer's arm off, as she didn't know what these people wanted with the fox and they were willing to shoot at her, was rather insulting... and this robot risked her life for these men.

She was not okay with that.

Still, she had to go along with it even if she wasn't okay with the how. Frustrated, she decided to move on and follow after Gear and the fox, as more goons came across the bridge after Masuka and the goon's dance of death.
The goon must have been sseriously dumb.

She held her blade to the side, moving her built up natural energy into her blade, charging it up.
She kept her focus, this wouldn't kill them as much as it'd knock the goons back. It may appear lethal to goon life for Gear though...

Masuka was so set on taking that sniper down, she had not yet glanced back to take note of the amount of attackers after her. Gear and Tokino were following not far behind, which made sense, as the goons they were attacking were after her, not them. She was reminded that wherever she went, the battle would follow.

The goons began to swarm her, she used the whip to trip and strike as many of them as possible, but it wasn't working well enough, it was barely leaving a dent in the cluster of goons. Her weapon wasn't really ment for attacking so many things at once, she mentally took a look at her options, "With this many goons in such a small proximity of me, illusions aren't gonna work as well and hypnosis and possession only really work one on one. Ecokinesis would be the easiest way out of this. But I'm in the middle of a city, there just isn't enough to control, not only that, but even if I could it would make it really easy for those two helping me to find out what I am".

She began getting exhausted from the amount of whip attacks she was doing, she hoped that Gear and Tokino were better at crowd control than her. Meanwhile, off in the distance, the sniper took aim, planning to take advantage of the chaos that was taking place.

Gear continued to move and fight rhythmically as he began playing a song from his audio Speakers as he proceeded to flow through combat. However this was taking it's toll as a lot of the goons had pulled guns as they realized going hand to hand with him wasn't a good plan. Pelting him with gun fire.

As Gear continued to avoid gun fire and other attacks he began notice another group of goons arrived. It seems like their backup arrived and they were determined to capture this fox girl. And Gear wasn't gonna let that happen.

"Alright then... let's see how they like Aaron's move..." he said with a smirk as he dashed into some goons.

"Topaz rush!"

He immediately began to pummel and dodge and weave in a perfect copy of his friends own attack pattern. With a another group down he began to head to masuka's position again.

Tokino and Gear continued the fight as Masuka tired out. Tokino wasn't going to let others harm the fox girl...

After releasing the stored energy in her blade into the surrounding air as kinetic energy, launching many goons backwards, she dashed to Masuka's back, deciding to see if she could help.
Gear insisted on a non-lethal solution, but she needed a quick solution to get Masuka out of her sticky situation.
KuroKiri flew off to his old friend the sniper again as Tokino acknowledged they were still a threat. Afterwards, she began her attack.
The air continued to grow even colder as her body seemed to radiate energy... and with a burst of speed, she dashed to many nearby goons surrounding Masuka, aiming to disarm them but not kill them as she dashed to each within Masuka's direct concerns...

Tokino was drained from this, and would need to return to building up energy through means or reflecting attacks rather than try something like that again...

Masuka watched as Tokino sent goons flying back and rushed in to give her some assistance with the cluster of goons swarming after her. The horse sped into the crowd and disarmed the main line of attackers, rendering a decent amount of them way more useless. During this, Masuka took a split second to rest, taking a breath before having to return to defending herself. "Thanks for the hand!"

At that moment another line of goons foolishly went to attack Masuka, "Uh, hold on one second". She gripped her weapon, pulled it back, then swung it at them and cracked the whip in several of the goons faces, not one of them wasn't wincing and holding the side of their face afterwards.

"Right, anyways. I plan to head towards that sniper and take him down, but the crowd is still way to dense for me to just rush away, mind staying and helping out with this group?" She then yelled out loud enough for Gear to hear, "Oh yeah, and you too. Mind helping me thin out this crowd here?" Masuka continued to defend herself while awaiting a reply to her questions.

Gear gave a nod as he once again jumped into combat. His engine began to glow as he sparked with energy.

"Alright then... let's end this!"

He rushed forwards as he surrounded by yellow and green electricity. Powering him up as he rushed towards the group.

"Overdrive... times two!"

With that he plowedin the group lad waste to a good number of them. With that, the power dissipated and he stopped with hands on his knees, his engine smoking.

"Whew... that took alot outta me... hopefully no more start coming or we may have to make like a banana and peel," he stopped for a moment as scratched his chin, "Or is it make like a banna and split? I forget..."

Tokino looked back at Masuka, and nodded. No time to reflect attacks, she had to incapacitate as many goons as she could. 
She watched as Gear rushed down many goons, and thought yourself the best course of option was. 

She dashed toward the goons closer to Masuka and made a confrontation with each to remove their weapons by stabbing their arms with the back of her katana. When they began firing at her she returned to reflecting bullets back at goons.

Masuka finished tripping a few more goons and looked up to watch as Gear plowed through the crowd and Tokino caused a bunch of attackers to drop their weapons. "Heh, looks like they were happy to oblige, guess it's my turn." Now that the threat of such a huge cluster of goons was mostly gone, she could rush over to deal with the sniper. "Hey, if I yell out hold your fire, please don't attack that sniper or else you will risk hurting me in the process. Just letting you know".

With that, knowing how vague her comment was, she ran at the sniper. The black cat seemed to have noticed his team was pretty much demolished. He leaped off the tree to make his escape but promptly got tugged by the ankle to the ground by Masuka with her whip, "Where do you think you're goin'?"

She was exhausted but knew that she may have to use her last resort, possession. She created two illusions of herself to confuse him, both of them alongside Masuka attacked him with their whips. By now any goons that were left ran at the fox, none of them seemed happy that their sniper was being attacked.

As they continued to fight another figure suddenly appeared in front of Tokino. With a swing, another blade appered and blocked the bullets aimed at the goons that Tokino had reflected.

"Hmph... I hate having to deal with messes y'all can't clean up... all A.L.C capture teams stand down. I will handle this."

The figure revealed herself to be a Echidna, but not a normal one. For starters she seemed to be made of literal Crystal and wore a skin tight grey and copper colored suit. A chamber with an unknown fluid bubble in her forhead. At her side was a rather sharp looking blade that she currently putting back in it's sheath.

"Will be taking in our package. Get out off they way or be terminated."

The new figure was somewhat surprising, but only somewhat. Tokino could only guess that this strange looking figure was this team's boss or some sort of back up. Either way they would surely provide more of a challenge...
With Masuka's cryptic comment and this new figure calling off the goons yet intent on capturing the girl, she called KuroKiri back to her side since they weren't needed for the sniper anymore, and served better use fighting alongside her now.

"Whoever you are, whatever you are, you will not be receiving this 'package', the girl will be left alone. Leave. Or give me reason to hunt you down later.", Tokino spoke with a bitter tone as she focused on the crystal woman, a serious expression across her face. She was ready for whatever this thing had to throw at her.

Masuka perked her ears up in interest when she heard a new voice appear within the chaos, she announced for her capture team to stand down, and with that, all of the goons promptly did as they were commanded. The sniper began to walk away when Masuka chose to trip him one last time with her whip then quickly give him a glare, "You got real lucky there mister sniper". She then turned around and looked at the new opponent she would have to deal with and started to walk slowly towards them.

"You know, I was just trying to enjoy a nice afternoon of drawing this park and then your goons disrupted the peace and turned this place into a battleground, I find that quite rude".

Masuka crossed her arms and continued walking over to her, "And I agree with the horse, you aren't taking this 'package' so easily, at least not while I'm still standing". This moment or two was enough to let her rest to the point she could use her powers more effectively than when she was fending of a crowd of goons, she pulled her whip out and readied herself to battle.

The dark gemed Echidna simply putt her had to the side of her head and the other to her sword hilt.

"This is is C-227 aka "Kya". Proceeded to capture and contain the target..." her eyes did not leave Gear or Tokino, "... and terminating resistance."

With one quick movement she shot forwards and drew her blade with unparalleled precision and speed. Her blank crystal white eyes showed no emotion as she engaged Gear first. He jumped back, jet flaring, as he barely missed him. Her blade instead hitting a tree.
For a moment nothing happened. The there was a creak and a groan as the tree fell over. Completely cut clean off it's base.

There was a click as Kya sheathed her weapon and turned to face them again. She ready to slash at Tokino and gear again, Ignoring Masuka as she engaged combat.
