Meusi City
Where the hottest of tracks and the brightest of gems are found!

Meusi City is a decagon shaped city bursting with rhythmic energy and colorful light shows, putting itself as a hotspot for those interested in music production and performance. The buildings of this not quite futuristic but not quite modern urban area metropolis typically have an obsidian or onyx black or a clear quartz or white opal scheme, each with their own little colorful flair to differentiate between the buildings. At night, the exteriors of the buildings refract and reflect flashing lights emerging from the center of the city in vivid spectrums. An aerial view of the city at night would make it look like a glistening gemstone. It’s got the society and culture of New Orleans with an appearance to rival that of New York or Tokyo.

Meusi City has a rather unique history, starting out as a small town that was lucky enough to unearth masses of precious jewels and stones so conveniently formed underground. At this time period, the area was named Pickhead Town, due to majority of the citizens mining for said precious items. To this day, various jewels are still being mined underneath the city.

Areas within this city were named after these gemstones, and people had even begun to use the names of these items as nicknames for each other. Some took it to the point of having a gemstone serve as a last name.

During the olden times of Pickhead Town, rivalries between newly forming jewelry and gemstone companies took the spotlight of tourist attraction. Things would get so heated that gangs were hired to sabotage rivalling businesses. Some of these street gangs exist within Meusi City today, most of them lying low in the backstreets and underground of Meusi City.

Music came into play starting from old mining songs that were chanted, expanded upon and then eventually played all throughout town. Several famous performers and artists were born in the city, even back when it was known as Pickhead Town. As time passed, music became more of a consumer staple just as much as the jewels that were purchased.
