Her pupils got as thin as ever when she said that, but got back to normal as she turned around to look out the window. She got quiet for a while.

Infinite finishes his chores before starting the process to make soup. He wasn't the cook of his squad but he had to learn in order to survive here. "Tell me Kory how has Sonic been? I do hope I left an impression on him".

She shrugged again while still looking at the snow outside the window. The snow started piling up, reaching the window.

"Soup made by whatever I could find. It's not flavourful but it's food. Tres was more of the cook".
He is focused on his task and thinks of the past

She goes to look at the pot for a moment. The warmth from the pot made her remember the good times of her past. She smelled the soup, it smelled salty.

"Did you like.. Found any spices around or somethin'?"

He genuinely smiles and shrugs. "I just find what I can and experinent. I'm using the last of my fish for this."

Her pupils dilated as her eyes squinted. Maybe hearing the word fish made her close-faced like that. She shook her head with her face turning normal again as she shrugged. She looked around again.

"... You've been here for five years? Just to make sure."

"Uh...yeah it's been five years since the war right? It's hard to keep track of time but it seems correct". He uses his bowl and fork to get soup from the pot.

She looked at the bowl he was holding, curious to know his reaction to his own cooking. Her tail wagged curiously.

He waves his hand and a bowl and fork materializes near Kory. "It doesn't have the best taste but it will warm you up, not that you don't seem to need to".

She grabs them and puts some soup on it. When she tasted it, it actually tasted better than she expected as shown by her fast wagging tail. And so she continues eating it.

As they eat Infinite speaks. "Many years ago we tried to kill each other and yet here we are eating as civilized people. Enjoy this peace Kory, for one day me and the Doctor will reign over this world,and perhaps one day even the galaxy".

"Sheesh, you remind me of Chief Knuckles. Dumbass was bamboozled by Eggman lots of times."
She continues eating her soup.

"For real, even if you could, you'd still have to go through Black Arms first."

She crosses her arms.

"Also, the soup was delicious."

Kory notices his movements and hisses at him. Her top and bottom fangs look nothing like a goat's teeth and more like a cat's one.

"BOY DON'T YA LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT, DO YOU WANT TO GET SMACKED?!"
She prepares her hand as she stands tall.

Kory quickly curls up into a ball and starts rolling in his direction while avoiding the Shadow clone. She learned with the main chief but her movement seems slippery.
